News Walt Disney World to resume sales of Annual Passes (New sales resume April 20, 2023)

Same here. Have been an out of state premier passport holder here for the past several years. My AP ended in Feb 2020 and I didn't renew with the uncertainty of everything. Took my first trip back last week. Spent 5 nights at the boardwalk, bought a 5 day park hopper, and had an amazing trip...

    Disney After Hours BOO BASH

Understood, but it was a separate, after hours, capped attendance event where the cap increased every year to the point of feeling not worth it. I feel it applies in context of my response to the thread.

    Disney After Hours BOO BASH

Agreed. However, they could tell us that just because it was sold out online right away for several nights doesn't mean they had hit their planned capacity yet for said nights. Did they publish the ticket cap that we all saw and purchased tickets against? Nope. Again, agree with you but those...

    Disney After Hours BOO BASH

Which was a bit miserable honestly. My last MNSSHP was September of 2019 and, compared to prior years to that, was very crowded and less enjoyable.

On layoffs, very bad attendance, and Iger's legacy being one of disgrace

I hit my 50th in August (2 months before). Completely agree. Hoping for a year of cheap catch up!

    Splash Mountain re-theme announced

I've heard more than one guest say how much they enjoyed the ride but had no idea what movie the ride is based on.

    Splash Mountain re-theme announced

and a bayou/Orleans based ride in frontierland? 🤔 Fits well in Disneyland but will be interesting to see how they squeeze that theme in.

Would you visit Walt Disney World with these health-based operational restrictions in place?

Disney parks are some of my favorite places in the world but I feel fortunate enough to have visited enough to hold off for awhile. My AP expired at the beginning of the year so I held off renewing. I do appreciate the efforts being made to get back to some level of normalcy but the measures...

    Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2019

Everyone seems to have the same perception that the event is overcrowded (myself included). I still had an enjoyable time but it wasnt' the same value as it was just a few short years ago. If crowds, and "not getting to do everything you want because you thought you were buying a limited...

When do first quarter hotel deals usually get announced?

I have something on the books for Marathon weekend but curious when hotel deals usually get announced for dates after Jan 1st? Everything is up to the end of the year right now as expected but curious if there is a typical pattern to when hotel deals get announced throughout the year. thanks.

    News Tomorrowland love

With Tron on its way, I had hoped for some additional Tomorrowland sprucing up. Thanks for the update! @AndyS2992, agree. Maybe when Tron opens Space may finally get that rebuild. Would love an updated version so we could get overlays like ghost galaxy and hyperspace mountain (along with in car...

    Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2019

We went to the 9/20 party and felt is was the most overcrowded Halloween party event we have attended over the years. We still had a great time and had a few newbies with us that really enjoyed it too. Going to check out Oogie Boogie's event at DCA on Halloween in a few weeks.

Not so magical early entry at DHS today.

Solo trip and usually skip early entry parks but though I’d give it a shot. Got here at opening (8) and tried slinky. Hordes of people shot the line up to 135 even without fastpass. Tower was down. Rnrc was 60 but went down 30 min in and they have no idea when it will be up. While down, tower...

News Annual Pass price increases June 2019

I have the premier passport and blown away by the increases lately. After the previous increase, I renewed reluctantly in February this year knowing I was running the dopey in 2020 and would be visiting both costs a couple of times for scheduled events. I think this last increase pushes me over...

    Jan. 2020 Resort Hotel Reservations

I called yesterday and they said January 2020 dates won't post until later this month. I find that really odd with all the hyper planning they make us do (and that the marathon weekend bibs already went on sale) but maybe it's standard these days? The panel link above is correct (499 days out if...
