‘Ohana - What am I missing?

December 2023 we were there for last seating. It was our first time. Your kids wont be eating chicken nuggets and mac-n-cheese here. We loved the meal. The salad and bread were winners from the get go. Actually got seconds. I am not a big chicken wings fan but they were delicious. They are not...

Is EPCOT worth the price of admission?

Dollywood was a Silver Dollar City before Dolly bought the park. It is so much more now. Love that park as much as Disney.

What Happens to WDW / Disney Parks during a massive correction / recession?

I can tell you that in1988 or 1989(I think) Disney World did a program that any Florida teacher could reserve a day at EPCOT for their students, EPCOT was free. They gave a meal at one of the walk up restaurants for something like $3 or $4 per child. The parking lot was full of school buses...

    Rank The Recent Family Mega-Brawls

3 were arrested with multiple charges against them. ,.The guy in red shirt was given $1,000,000 bond and faced up to 7 year prison sentence. He showed up for court, plead guilty and got 6 months jail time and had anger management mandated. I would also think Disney banned from all parks for...

Okay, Who’s Booking at Star Wars: Galactic Cruiser?

But it is not just a hotel. It is a 2 day adventure like you were in outer space in a Star Wars episode. Pools are not part of the adventure. You will have a story line to follow. It will be like you are acting in a movie or living the part. You will have a job on your ship, You have to save...

Covid Vaccine Updates and General Discussion About Vaccines

We had plans to try to get the vaccine, but with the death of the Miami Beach doctor from a stoke after noticing the broken blood vessels in his feet 3 days after getting the first shot we are going to wait. I have had mini stroke before and my husband has a pace maker so is on Eliquis to...

Time Travel Question: Should Disney have Stuck to CA and FL?

Has Paris Disney started making enough money to keep the park running? I always heard that Disney World was paying the bills to keep it afloat.

As of July 27th, no outbreaks have been associated with the parks. Surprise?

All of the tourists that live out of state will not be in our stats when/if they get it because your home state counts you. The thing that will show up in counts in Florida might be within the company itself by the number of CMs that are on the 2 week or extended quarantine for testing...

Actually when you come out of Disney on 192 you are right next to Celebration so not really the area you are mentioning which is more Eastern part of Kissimmee. . Don't know if it is open right now but there is a Kobe Japanese Restaurant . Celebration has Paneras. 5 Guys, Chick-fil-a, Joes...

    Masks at WDW

Here's the link to the requirement for masks https://www.clickorlando.com/news/local/2020/06/18/orange-county-residents-will-be-required-to-wear-face-masks-under-new-executive-order/ But some conservatives have challenged it recommending it change required to recommended.

    Masks at WDW

New mandate for masks also addresses 6 foot distancing so not sure how the bars are doing it though. Last night on the news they showed people being turned away if they didn't accept a mask to wear. Employees of bars and restaurants are many of the latest positives with symptoms. Some bars and...

    Masks at WDW

Am not sure what the policy will be in the parks , but could be only eating at tables like Sea World supposedly is doing.

    Masks at WDW

Actually, the mask question has been answered. They are mandatory now in Orange and Osceola County. Exceptions while eating, drinking, and if for health reasons it keeps you from breathing. Also not needed in the pool and on the deck of pools at the hotels-except the life guards will wear them...

What will the experiences at the resorts be like post COVID?

I think tourists coming into the state are going to have to adjust park visiting to social distancing or the parks will have to close again when the Covid-19 gets so many CMs sick that the parks will not have enough CMs to open. Disney knows how expensive it is to close and they don't want to...

    Sneaking into Disney...why?

Not quite a dead deal, if this is the same person . Trespassing made the news today. https://www.mynews13.com/fl/orlando/attractions/2020/02/19/videos-of-theme-park-trespassers-under-investigation

If you had the money would you stay one YEAR?

Sorry but I would find that very boring and hate WDW after a short time. Living in an artificial environment for a year would absolutely kill me. Now living at the beach for a year----I think I could do that.

    Disney Wedding Nightmare

A court somewhere must have given him custody of the kids......so there definitely is another side to this story. He sure doesn't seem to be hiding and trying to marry the 2nd woman without either knowing about the other. Also on a marriage license here in Florida there is a question about...

Do Orlando Residents get tired of the parks?

I think it all depends on how long you have lived in the area and what stage your family is in at the time. We live an hour away from the parks and have family members who work for the parks so can get in free and haven't really paid to get into any of the parks for 20 or more years. Do we go...
