I can't believe I didn't take a photo but when I was there for the Flower and Garden festival, one area down by the lake looked like a sinkhole had swallowed up the flowers that were part of the giant flowerscape surrounding the lake. They had orange netting up around it to keep workers out...

Interesting that the cars move a lot slower fully loaded. Empty trains seemed faster to me when I saw it cycle a couple weeks ago.

Something's up around this area. The Micechat update this week shows a lot of work going on for these railings. The weird part is that they supposedly checked the track with the rolling headstrike rig months ago when the track was first built. That's gotta be what's going on here right...

Interesting side note to the dock at MK, this now blocks the west approach to docks for the smaller boats into the protected harbor. We were on a boat from Wilderness Lodge this weekend and it had to come in the east entrance and float over to the west side of the dock. Before it would come...

Noticed yesterday that they're clearing a plot of land adjacent to I-4 between the Hess station and the Casting building. Could this be for the rumored new I-4 exit for Disney Springs? Maybe that's been made official but I'm not aware of it. Sorry no photos since I was driving. :)

Awww bummer. I saw these docks over by the Grand Floridian and thought they were a footbridge to link GF to MK. Wishful thinking.

I did the stock car drive a couple years ago. It was fun but a couple major points: they used to be manual shift (not sure if they've changed that) so you'd need to know how to use a clutch to get out of the pits and onto the track. Also, you're not just allowed to go out there yourself and...

Work in Orlando, live in Tampa. Hate Orlando, love Tampa. Orlando is just a touristy transient town (obviously). It's amazing that the two cities can be that close together and have entirely different feels. Tampa is more laid back.

Maybe they will finally reveal what this thing is.

Thanks for posting this thread. It's one of those things that I looked at and knew something was missing but couldn't put my finger on it. Glad they're back. Although I'd rather see something more futuristic and less industrial for Tomorrowland some day.
