‘Celebrate the Magic’ Nighttime Show Coming to Magic Kingdom

I'm hoping this new show will use some elements from the new show in Disneyland Paris. It does the same projections, but it's a much more involved show. Check out this amazing video!

    Are We Crazy?!?!

Sounds like my husband and I! Went for a week in May...just got back from a long weekend....headed back for a few days at Christmas! We live in Rhode Island and have an annual pass ha ha. My co-workers think I'm a bit crazy, but jealous at the same time! Our annual pass is good till May 14th...

    Disneyland Paris ?

My husband and I went to DLP last summer for the 1st time (spent 3 days on property) and had a great time. Our favorite attraction in both parks was Crush's Coaster. It has some of the same elements as The Seas with Nemo and Friends and also the Submarine Voyage in DL...but a thrill factor as...

Disneyland Paris Trip Report March 2011

Wow - I pretty much had a very similar experience last June when my husband and I went for 3 days after our London-Paris trip. Overall, we thought the park was beautiful (both Disneyland and Studios)...but 1st thing in the morning! By the end of the day...trash everywhere. It just seemed like...

Paris v.s Flordia!:Trip Report Attractions Comparison..

If you absolutely can only do one park then DEFINITELY Disneyland. The Studios is quite unique and has a few great attractions, but you can't beat the beautiful architecture and nostalgia of Disneyland. Their versions of Pirates of the Caribbean / Haunted Mansion (called Phantom Manor there) /...

Paris v.s Flordia!:Trip Report Attractions Comparison..

I'm pretty sure I had a concussion when I got of that Space Mountain ha ha. I went on it again later in the day too...which wasn't smart! Loved Disneyland Paris, but one of my biggest concerns was the lack of cleanliness. By the end of the day the trash cans were overflowing...trash...

    1st Trip to DLP

My husband and I spend the last two days of our London-Paris trip last summer at DLP and had a great time. We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel (courtesy of our DVC points) and it was amazing! That is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in on any Disney property. We went in late June so...

Most Random question ever re: Tangled Meet and Greet

Definitely be prepared for long waits! I was there in May and the wait times were averaging 3 hours...no joke. Parents were waiting in shifts. They were coming out every hour I believe. I'm not sure how long they stayed out each time. I just wanted to get a photo of them so I went about 10...

    Observations from Disneyland Paris

My husband and I took our 1st trip to DLP last June. Overall, we LOVED it. We go to WDW and DL regularly so were quite curious what to expect. I must say that Crush's Coaster was one of my favorite attractions from the trip. It was such a fun ride and we hope it makes it's way to one of the...

    Sum of all Thrills

I've never done Cyber Space Mountain, but I've seen video clips of the little contraption you are in. Sum of All Thrills uses a robotic (Kuka) arm. When you go upside down you don't actually do a 360 degree maneuver. You are simply help upside down. It feels very realistic though ha ha.

    Sum of all Thrills

I've done it a few times (including last week) and the lines were very short both times. I think most people overlook this attraction or don't even know about it. I've done the coaster and the jet and found the coaster to be much more fun. The more upside down maneuvers the better! ...if you...

Star Tours II - Ride reviews

Got a preview last night about an hour before park close and it was GREAT! So much better than the old attraction.

Need Help Interpreting UG's Crowd Calendar

I am not very familiar with that guide or what the various "numbers" mean, but I can tell you one thing. Toy Story Mania is VERY popular and is going to be busy on any given day. This is what I suggest....get to the park 1st thing (preferably when it opens).....go RIGHT to Toy Story Mania...

Reahab of Cinderella Castle for this year

Wow...I was just there and the castle looked great! I wonder what they are doing to it.

    A typical DLP vacation?

My husband and I also spent 4 days in Paris (in addition to the 3 at DLP) and had amazing / sunny / warm weather the entire time. We also LOVED Paris! We did so much in those 4 days (Notre Dame / Sacre Coeur / Eiffel Tower / Louvre / Moulin Rouge show / day trips to Versailles and...

    A typical DLP vacation?

My husband also said that it felt like your "standard" theme park instead of Disney (ie. Six Flags). However, if you are a true Disney junkie...and you're in the area...don't miss it. Despite all the negative things we encountered, it did have some positives: Beautiful landscaping (and...

    A typical DLP vacation?

My husband and I just returned from DLP about a week ago. We spent 3 days there (Friday-Sunday) as the ending to our London / Paris vacation. We felt that was more than enough time...especially since the parks were not open late on the days we were there (Studios only open till 7 and...

    smoking

I just returned from DLP about a week ago and was very disturbed by the smoking and the lack of respect by the visitors. My husband and I also saw that there were "designated" smoking areas on the maps, but they were definitely NOT used and people smoked wherever they pleased...including line...

    Parades-where to stand?

I love to take photos during the parades so the BEST place I have every stood was up by the railroad station (on the balcony). My husband did that during the holidays in 2007. I got some GREAT shots of the Christmas parade one afternoon. The only thing is that you have to get there early...at...

Need a suggestion for something romantic to do at WDW

This may not be romantic to most people, but my husband and I love to get funnel cakes in Liberty Square and then sit on Main Street for Wishes. It's always the highlight of our vacation. I've never done this, but I bet a night flight in the hot air balloon at Downtown Disney would be very...
