Room Requests for an Expecting Mother

Hi Everyone, I will be traveling down to WDW in February and staying at the Beach Club Resort. By then my wife will be 6 months pregnant. What is the best number to contact to request our room be on the ground floor and as close as possible to the lobby. I'm not familiar with the Beach...

Disney Rewards Card Points Total Thread

We currently have 212 points. Always look forward to the next statement's update. We charge all our bills, groceries, and purchases to the card. Makes it a bit less depressing knowing it's building towards future fun. Saving them all for our next trip. It's about a year's worth of points...

Steven Tyler reportedly signs deal with ‘Idol’

I guess this would be a good thing for the Idol Experience since Disney already has a working relationship with Aerosmith???

Golf Channel's Big Break @ Walt Disney World Resort

It seems the 12th season of the popular show is taking place at the Magnolia and Palm Courses at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. Premiering Oct. 13 at 10 p.m. ET on the Golf Channel. I ran a search and didn't see anything on this posted yet. "Utilizing the unique venue, Big Break...

    Give a Gift Flexibility

The Disney World website has a sampling of different in room birthday gifts you can order. Does anyone know how specific you can get with a request? I'm looking to just have a Jiminy Cricket plush delivered in a box with a birthday card. Is that beyond the scope of the program?

    April Trip Dining ADR's

This seems to be quite a popular thing to do in this forum section. Since I enjoy seeing other people's choices so much I decided to throw mine up for discussion as well. ;) FYI, my wife (29) and I (28) are on the dining plan. Thurs. (4/30) Arrival Day: Les Chefs de France for dinner @...

Process in determining park and resort locations??

I was playing around with Google maps looking at the Disney property (always a good escape) and began to wonder why after the Magic Kingdom was built, towards the north end of the property, has the vast majority of expansion since been built in the opposite hemisphere so to speak? Was it just a...

Items to buy to Commemorate a trip

I was wondering what items you guys/gals might buy to commemorate a trip. Something with at least a year on it. As the years go by and the trips blur together it might be nice to pull a keepsake out of storage and have it pinpoint a particular trip. I guess you could have almost anything...

    Rebooking Questions

I'm strongly considering the 3 nights free deal. You have to book by Dec. 20th, however. If the economy continues to slide and Disney offers an even sweeter deal how difficult is it to cancel and rebook under a newer offer? I would be booking everyhting through Disney. Thanks guys and gals.

No schedule for Fantasmic until Nov 9th??

The WDW website says "No Schedule for Today" for Fantasmic from Nov 1st - Nov 8th. A performance time isn't shown until Nov 9th. Is there some sort of reason for this? Is Fantasmic down until the 9th or is the show's start time just yet to be determined?

Orlando is the Nation's 25th most dangerous city

The report was released today. I know numbers can be manipulated but I never got the impression that Orlando was a violent place. Of course, all I've ever really seen is the airport. http://www.wwlp.com/news2004/story.html?artID=410774

In lite of this Six Flags stunt: http://abclocal.go.com/wls/story?section=local&id=4580237. Would you eat bugs to get to the front of the line at a Dinsey Park? I think the bug would have to be smaller then an inch for me to get it down!

Your longest stretch between Disney World visits

What is your longest gap between two trips and why? For me my last trip was in 1998. I went with my girlfriend at the time's family and it was my senior year of highschool. So college and landing a job to afford the trip i have booked for Novemebr 2006 is my lay-over reason.

    Jet Ski's at WDW

Does anyone think WDW will ever offer jet ski's for rent on the lagoons? I'm not talking the super powerful models. They'd be a bit more entertaining for adults, compared to the speed boats offered now.
