Dined there in December 2023, party of 3 and there were guests at our table. Not surprised, expected that and had a good conversation with them. That's the point, isn't it?
If want to try reservations for breakfast at Whispering Canyon - it can be a lot of fun for the boys. A quick boat ride over to the Wilderness Lodge from the Contemporary and can return to the Contemporary or directly to Magic Kingdom from the Lodge.
If you like the performance of the current board - reelect them. But don't complain about the performance of the company in the future since you chose to keep what was in place.
If you want some change to happen, hopefully for the better, time to cast votes for some new personnel.
Still...
This is one of the reasons that I voted to oust the entire management team at WDW. They have lost the vision of making and keeping 'magic'. I know that my votes are meaningless since I don't own millions of shares - but it is one way to express my dissatisfaction with how things have changed...
This is right on -- why did they not add the Tiana flume ride and keep the Splash Mountain ride rather than the overlay they are doing? The addition would have been more than welcome and you would have ended up with 2 rides and a thinned out crowd. But additions are not in Iger's mind.
What with Iger staying - I'm sure he will find a way to close it. He seems to be good at that type of move other than coming up with additional experiences for we the guests.
I don't see this as an improvement with the dining plan. The original 'delux dining plan' was great - much more flexibility. As one who avoids 'quick service' meals this is not a great idea. The points system was much better.
The inspections could and can always be done when the parks are closed thereby not interfering with the guests. I'm sure that inspectors would love the overtime pay if that is an issue.
Pirates provides a really good experience and it is not a 2 minute ride. Had Mine Train been at least twice as long as it is - then I would consider changing my vote.
My family has T-Shirts going back to the 70's that get regular wearing. They just don't seem to wear out. Not a bad product. Hopefully the quality will continue to stand up and that they don't begin cutting quality here.
