    Movies to watch before visiting

We watch as many as we can in the weeks leading up to our trip. A lot have been covered, but some movies that make us feel the Disneh nostalgia are The Lion King, Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, Cinderella.

"I don't want anymore darn MagicBands!!" help!

Great idea with the celebrations!! I wish I had thought of the when we got our FIRST MagicBands (then again, I didn't know we'd have a ga-jillion when it was all said and done). It was our then 3 month old's first trip.... and guess what! She gets one every time we stay onsite too!! She'll be 7...

"I don't want anymore darn MagicBands!!" help!

I'm assuming this has been asked, but I've had a difficult time finding anything in the search. We got our APs for our trip in May. This meant that we received MagicBands originally for that trip, we activated our APs once we arrived for that trip, and then were sent another set of MagicBands...

    Too close to trip?

We've always been last minute planners... We were considering booking a resort stay for next weekend. Do you think we would get magic bands sent to us or is it too close to the time of stay??? We've always been last minute "hey let's go to Disney!" people, so the last couple times we went last...

    Is This a good time?

Gone are the days of "dead parks." Man I miss those days. I think November/Feburary has become a couple of our favorite times to go so long as you avoid the holiday weekends. As mentioned, Free Dining can throw a kink into time periods you would expect to be "light crowds".

Favorite "best kept secrets" in the Parks

My husband and I have made the pearl picking in Japan an anniversary tradition that started on our Honeymoon. We hope to do it every anniversary and begin piecing together pearls for jewelry! Definitely a special tradition for us.

    Disney Honeymoon Registry Experience?

My husband and I used the Disney Honeymoon Registry for our Disneymoon in September 2010. It was one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding planning! Wedding guests were able to purchase products/experiences/etc. that we registered for and it was all put on a gift card (below). On...

    What's the 'Best' Moderate Resort?

I have stayed in all of the Mods, though some stays were SEVERAL years ago when I was young. I would consider POFQ my favorite due to its size and theming. There may be some bias/nostalgia there because that's where my parents you to take me as "my" trip without my brothers when I was young. As...

Favorite "best kept secrets" in the Parks

People watching is one of our favorite "best kept secrets" because it is never the same every time you're there! You can always count on the amusement of Disney crowds! We also love some of the lounges at the Deluxe resorts, like Victoria Falls at AKL or Tambu Lounge at Poly.

Rain: Do you poncho, rain jacket, or umbrella?

My husband and I purchased WDW rain jackets on our Honeymoon back in 2010. They are stitched with Walt Disney World and the bag is attached to them that they fold back into themselves. They are great to carry around and throw on when an afternoon rain comes through!! And they are special to us...

    Disney Pinterest Boards?

I put all of my Disney pins on my "this n' that" board (I haven't taken the time to consolidate). But, I am following a girl that all of her boards are Disney inspired! Search "jaime d" on pinterest under people. Her boards are fabulously Disney!

Will you be at MK on the 29th for 24hr?

We will be there the weekend before.... I'm hoping it doesn't affect the crowds that weekend! Would love to be there though!

Your favorite "major" restaurant at World Showcase

I love Le Cellier, but haven't gotten to eat there in 4-5 years. As of current it would be a toss-up between Teppan Edo and Via Napoli. Trying to compare the two is difficult for us though because we usually do Via Napoli as an early lunch or snack to grab a drink and split a pizza so I...

    Best Spots to "People Watch"

We love any shaded bench around World Showcase. Also, any bench in view of an outdoor character spot can be interesting as well!

Are there new refillable mugs for 2012?

Agreed. I still have mugs from the 90's (a silver 25th one, and my parents still have the Port Orleans ones). While they are bulkier than the recent design (at least the style that I have) they are definitely more of a keepsake.

To dress up or not to dress up...

I definitely think you should go all out!! You are paying for the Party, you should dress up for it!! We have yet to go to the Halloween Party, but if we did Hubby and I (27 and 26, respectively) would most certainly be dressing up!

Best / Worst Park to go to on a Rainy Day

Agreed. AK by far worst!! As coltow said, the post shows at Epcot can keep you busy.... we don't mind bouncing from country to country in WS.
