Least expensive accommodation for 6-8 adults?

Cabin at Fort Wilderness? I think they sleep 6. Two queens and a set of bunkbeds if I remember correctly. Although you are limited to only one bathroom. You could go for one or two family suites at the All-Stars or the new Art of Animation resort if it's open when you are planning on going.

Would you stay at the YC with 5 people?

Family Suite at the All-Star Music. You can't beat two full bathrooms! Of course my first recommendation would have been the Cabins at FW...

On-Line Resort Check In: Is it helpful?

I had an awesome experience using online check-in. I had requested (online) to be near transportation at the All-Star Music. When we got to the hotel, the regular line was full of people. I got in the online check-in line, and a manager came right over, gave me my room keys, and informed me that...

Any families of five out there..

Whenever someone has 5 or more, I always recommend the cabins at Fort Wilderness. Four beds, a full kitchen, a free standing building. What more could you ask for?

Which resort? Looking for a kitchen.

I love the cabins. They're quiet, roomy and you get a full kitchen. We've cooked Thanksgiving there many times.

Disney Insider Trivia Question about PI?!

I thought it was an odd question, but then I wondered if they were referring to Pleasure Island in Pinocchio. Anyone remember if New Year's was celebrated there every night?

    Typhoon Lagoon in November

Just look up weather information archives and see what the temperature is in Orlando at that time of year. Then it's up to your personal taste. I grew up in South Florida, so I would not dream of getting in the water in November. But I always remember seeing people in the hotel pools during the...

    Monorail Technical Question

How would it take forever to upload new audio to the trains? Have you ever transferred an mp3 on an SD card? It should take seconds per train, and they don't change the audio loop all that often. Running a data strip along the entire length of track would be ridiculously expensive.

Does WDW ever open new attractions before they're finished?

You're correct about soft openings. They use them to see if the attraction is operating properly and if anything final needs tweaked. I'll never forget that as a kid I was in EPCOT with my mom late at night and The Living Seas was open for a soft opening. I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Tomorrowland Noodle Station and Diamond Horseshoe info mixed up

Under the story for the Noodle Station opening, it says it's $35 for adults and $18 for kids. Should that be under the Diamond Horseshoe story, since it's a sit down meal? Or are we really going to be paying $35 for noodles?

    Walter Cronkite dead at 92

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/30988078/ns/entertainment-television/ I just saw that Walter Cronkite passed away today. I'll always remember him as the voice of Spaceship Earth from my childhood and as the cohost of the Animation Tour at MGM. Was he in any other attractions?

    Peddle boats?

Do they let you rent them in Bay Lake? I know you can rent them to go around the canals within the resort, but I can't remember if you can get them on the beach. If not, you could rent those little speed boats and see River Country.
