Q about WDW with a disability...

I hadn't thought of the Stadium seats, thank you :) Is there a card we can get there (like the Guest Assistance Card) or something that we can show cast members if needs be to avoid the upward situation? As for the ECV, it wouldn't matter. it's kinda hard to describe... with arthritis...

    2011 Dining Plan Changes?

Just adding my 4cents here (inflation and all!) Our last few trips, years ago :( we used the dining plan for our group. Usually 4-6 of us. It worked great, was wonderful, etc. But this time... We have a 10 year old and a 2 year old, and this is our first "Just our family" vacation...

From Wisconsin to Orlando for a week... Driving for the first time...

Wow what a night it's been. Jcat should pop in this thread later and mention it too but... We broke everything down, took a close look at our finances (we are lightyears ahead of where we were our last trip, mentally physically and financially), and then looked at what we and the kids want out...

From Wisconsin to Orlando for a week... Driving for the first time...

When it was just three of us, for our last few trips, Airfare was obviously a cheaper choice. The addition of a fourth, plus with our elder growing older and wanting to experience more, is what throws it into question. Looking at driving, you are right ceme, we are more worried about the...

From Wisconsin to Orlando for a week... Driving for the first time...

Looking at the 21st-28th of january right now. And phooey on cold weather :) if it's in the 40's, it will most likely be warmer then where we left. Heck in the 50's we wear shorts :ROFLOL: Sun Country out of MSP is $1237 for 4 people round trip non-stop right now. Fronteir is slightly...

From Wisconsin to Orlando for a week... Driving for the first time...

Actually your latest report, combined with other peoples, we are staying onsite without question. We did MAJOR spreadsheeting and computer simulations (yeah... we have too much time on our hands) and it came out that when you combine everything, staying onsite is the way to go. Especially...

From Wisconsin to Orlando for a week... Driving for the first time...

Sorry for the ueber late reply to this everyone - we had a rough patch with the extended family (2 funerals, quite a few scares, illnesses, etc) and things are finally settling down after 3 months of heck). The disney trip is back into the planning stages, and this is still in Discussions :)...

Looking offsite this time... Ramada Maingate West

Good morning all! Once again we are travelling to the World! This time is our 2 year olds first trip (decided to get one pre-3 trip in for her), and for the first time down there our older daughter is considered an 'adult' by Disney standards! Having an extra little bundle with, we are...

From Wisconsin to Orlando for a week... Driving for the first time...

Good morning all! Looking at all sorts of things while planning our vacation, 12 months out lol. The situation: Normally, our family flies. Then again, last time we went it was just my wife, our daughter, and me :) This time however, our newest addition (who is almost 2 already!) will...

Next trip with some Disney Newbies - Question on Group Discount...

Gooood morning all, long time no post! We are setting up a trip for 12 months from now, lovely February of 2011! This time, we are going with some family members who have not been there before. They are bringing their 4 year old, and we are bringing along our two kids 10 and 2. When...

Any word on Fall Deals (4:3 deal extension maybe!?)

I'm also waiting to hear for fall - specifically late august or the second week in September. Crossing fingers for free dining, but 4/3 would be good as well. A question on the 4/3 package though, kinda relating to this. If we go between 8/15 and 8/22, would we still be eligible for this...

Does offsite save money for a disney-only family?

Now there is something we didn't think of - townhouses and such. hehe. Price range we are looking at would be under $800 for a week - depending on what they offer (free breakfast, discount tickets, etc) maybe a bit more, but can't say without looking. Size isn't that important as long as...

Does offsite save money for a disney-only family?

Hey all! We are going in early september (sometime between the 7th and the 16th, 4-7 days in that timeframe). The wife and I have always taken our daughter to Riverside, but with a new little addition that came last year, and with our budget strapped a bit, we are trying to decide between...

    Are fall deals out yet?

Hey all - Apologies in advance. Normally we are on the ball with this stuff. But we have had a lot going on between work, the kids, and family, we have barely had time to breathe. Which is why we are looking at this fall - the wife and I decided last night that we NEED to go on vacation. It's...

What has caused the CoP to loose crowds?

I think they hit the nail on the head. It's a non-descript building that doesn't scream "check me out!" and isn't mentioned in most promotional materials. Plus, many people use it just for "sitting down for 20 minutes in air conditioning", and that's how they tell their friends. It's not...

Is Jan/Feb a decent time to go / Good deals?

THANK YOU for pointing that out! I had forgotten the super bowl was down there this year

Is Jan/Feb a decent time to go / Good deals?

Okay, one more question: Since if we book we are getting the "rack" rate for january 2009, would the AAA discount apply to the rate?

Is Jan/Feb a decent time to go / Good deals?

You do have to buy an extra airline ticket once they turn 2 :) That alone is a difference of around $300 bucks. Thank you all for the info! Looking closely at the quick service plan this time (really, we only "need" 2 sit downs - the Rose and Crown and the Princess Breakfast in Epcot).
