    Wild Tiki Room Rumor

I was just in Tokyo Disneyland and saw the new Tiki Room show with Stitch. It lasted all of eight minutes and it sucked. Awful.

Today was the last show of Playhouse Disney Live and the last for Bear

France? Is this version of Playhouse Disney going to the Walt Disney Studios Paris?

New Maps for All Stars with smoking sections!

It's very simple: smokers are drug addicts. Nicotine is a drug. Cigarettes are merely a delivery system that large corporations have used, with the help and encouragement of the US Government (which loves big business), to create millions of drug addicts who MUST buy their products. End...

Soarin' Single Flyers Line to Return?

The Single Rider Line at Soarin' Over California is usually no more than a 10 minute wait. It's perfect! Ditto for the SLR line at Splash Mountain in Disneyland. Again, usually a 10 to 15 minute wait (when the Fastpasses are long gone and the Standby line is 2 hours!).

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique gets cozy in Cindy's Castle

Yes, I was referring to Disneyland. And they've been miked on my past few visits, as have the singers in New Orleans Square.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique gets cozy in Cindy's Castle

You will still find two locations like this in Disneyland in Anaheim: the first is the Disneyana shop on Main Street, the second is the Disney Gallery in New Orleans Square. Main Street in Disneyland still has the Disneyana shop. Main Street in Disneyland still has the Main Street Cinema...

If you love Everest, don't open this thread

I didn't think Everest was great. You pass by the Yeti so quickly you can barely see it, and the part where you go backwards through a curve made me dizzy and nauseous. I think they could have done a lot more with the ride.

I finally saw Laugh Floor Comedy Club, review inside

While Carousel of Progress is a classic, Stitch literally stinks--it is the very WORST that Disney has to offer and you should do anything you can to keep people away from it because it gives them a stilted opinion of what a Disney attraction is. Stitch is a turd best avoided. The Comedy Club...

    Ruined...POTC

Sorry, but you are merely repeating disinformation when you state that Pirates of the Caribbean was the last ride Walt supervised (Disney itself repeats this as well). Walt Disney not only supervised a good deal of the creation of the Haunted Mansion (which was in process long before his...

    Wilderness Lodge Room Ques

The Wilderness Lodge is our favorite WDW hotel besides the Beach Club (which we like because of 1. The Cape May Cafe, 2. Stormalong Bay Pool Complex, 3. Beaches and Cream Ice Cream Parlor). Don't have any room numbers for you, but all the views are pretty good (unlike the Villas at Wilderness...

KUNGALOOSH! I went to the Adventurer's Club and...

I haven't been to the Adventurer's Club for a few years. Aside from those photos posted earlier in the thread from 2004, I don't recognize ANY of the cast members--have all of them changed?

    HM rehab news

I went to Hong Kong Disneyland late last year and rode the new electric Autopia cars. They are quiet, they don't stink, and they make the attraction much more pleasant. Since there's no sound from the engine, they've got a fake space-ship like whirring sound hooked up with the pedal action...

Interesting Article on Manners at Hong Kong Disney

I've been to China a few times. Here's my most vivid impression: bathrooms in most places, including restaurants, have no toilet paper, no hot water, no soap, no paper towels, no hot air dryers, and no toilet seats. The men ________ on the nearest wall they can find, spit all over the place...

    DINOSAUR! Tokyo

While Dinosar and Indiana Jones Adventure share the same ride system and vehicles, the track layout is not the same. Yes, Indy in Tokyo is different than in Anaheim. Yes, there are no fire (pyro) effects. The entire motif is also different: in Tokyo it's an Aztec temple. The crystal skull is...

    Storm Riders Replacing SSE??

I've been on Stormrider and it's an odd combination of Star Tours and Soarin' Over California. The cabin is very large, much larger than the Starspeeder in Star Tours. The screen is very large, like Soarin. Unlike Soarin, however, where the seams aren't too noticeable, the screen in Stormrider...

    ToonTown Rehab (Playground)

My 3 year old daughter loves this place! It's the first thing she wants to do when we get to the park. Many people without small kids underestimate the desire to "play" in this type of open situation.

    Noodle Station to close again

I was there last week. It was extremely crowded. However, the food was truly disgusting. My Pork Bun with "asian slaw" was vile. The potstickers (more properly known as dumplings) were not hot, and the exterior was leathery. Again--inedible. My wife had some sort of salad that was also inedible...

Garden Grill Open on Sun 4/24/2005

I've never seen a buffet at the Garden Grill: it's always been a skilleted all-you-can-eat meal delivered to your table. You don't have to go stand on line at a buffet, so why is everyone calling it a buffet? And if they bring the food to your table, why aren't posters calling it "table...

    Soarin No Shop?

Perhaps the Disney Company has learned a lesson from the extensive gift shop in Mission Space. Upon opening it was filled with ride-specific merchandise of a mind-boggling variety: toys, bobble heads, snow globes, food, prints, and on and on. It seems that only the pins and t-shirts really sold...
