I always found Ellen's universe of energy to be calming after a long morning at Epcot. It was a must for the nostalgia and the total lack of sunlight. Hopefully the new Cosmic Unwind ride will be slightly less nap inducing.

The track and vehicle could use some updates I haven't riddent Space Mountain since 2002. I love Space Mountain, the queue, even without a sponsor is lovely. The only scream I let out during the ride was when it hurt my back though. They need a warning on that back seat, it's one rough ride.

How sad, I feel sorry for the Universal guy. :-( I have been to both Universal Studios and WDW in Florida. I enjoyed dfferent aspects of each Park. Variety is the spice of life.

I am also employed in this area you refer to as "computer geek" and I also am much more excited about the next Pirates film than another Superhero flick, even if it is Spiderman. I am all burnt out on Superheroes. They make me feel . . . inadequate. At least pirates are just regular human folk...

I must put in my vote for Spaceship Earth. I first rode it when I was 8 years old and have loved it ever since. I will concede that it needs a serious rehab sometime in the future, but even so I still think it is the best ride at WDW.

So sad It was so sad to read this thread. It brought back the memory of the confusion that goes on when someone dies suddenly and so unexpectedly. My condolences to the family.

Oh wow, I really like it and I was afraid I wouldn't. Imagineering did a good job IMHO, it wasn't cheesy at all. :cool: This is always the ride at the MK that my husband insists that we not miss. I can't wait to ride the WDW version.
