    Illuminations: Sky Dance!

Yeah I’d say the post from 13 years ago didn’t age well, did it. 😉 Scary part is, this was all joke an hyperbole back then. *sigh*

News Reflections of Earth confirmed to be replaced by Harmonious

Apparently the pyro in Harmonious is not what was originally planned, but they were left without a choice to push forward because of shipping delays. Considering EVERYTHING coming from overseas is weeks and weeks delayed, that would make sense. Any legitimacy to this?

News Reflections of Earth confirmed to be replaced by Harmonious

Anybody know if there’s a blogger or site filming it tonight? Just curious about a side by side comparison of last night to tonight…if anything changes…

News Reflections of Earth confirmed to be replaced by Harmonious

I have to admit, putting “Someday” in as the closing song is bold choice of Disney when you relate it to everything that is going on in this country and the world. I have to give them sincere respect for that.

News Reflections of Earth confirmed to be replaced by Harmonious

@Thelazer , thought I had quoted you. True. Im curious if they had ever planned to bring them out every day. The middle barge is three pieces, they float…why build barges at all if you’re going to sit them out on the water permanently, right? Whos to say the budget didn’t originally include...

News Reflections of Earth confirmed to be replaced by Harmonious

The videos make it look like the budget was cut midway through, and considering last year I would not be surprised if that was the case. Their focus became finishing the barges, the must haves, and scrapping upgrades to things like the pavilions, spots, etc. With all of the upgrades to the MK...

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

So, surge pricing, virtual queues that still offer a premiere paid pass if you can’t get a spot (meaning the only way to ride is pay), all e-tickets get booked quickly and you either wait in line or, if virtual, you don’t ride at all, and cost is per person per ride. *checks notes*. I think I...

    Creations Shop opening this summer

Likely the thought process was a skylight would let in more heat, increasing requirements to cool the building.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

One thing to consider is the footage being shot with the actors. With the pandemic, Hollywood was shut down, and understandably so. That, coupled with budgets being upended, massive losses from closed parks, movie theatres, etc., created a perfect storm. Now, the added timing to build buzz and...

    Hurricane Irma

It's wonderful to see through social media the efforts Disney and the CMs are making to entertain and keep guests occupied. As a former CM who did this during Wilma, it looks to have only gotten better.

    Thanks, SpenceMan01. That's great news.

    D23 Expo 2015

This might be an odd question, but we're attending this year and were wondering if they have two separate queues for each of the D23 panels on Friday and Saturday. Meaning, do they clear out the hall after the first panel for a new group or do you to wait for the morning panel to see the...

Reflections of Earth improvements including new lasers

A wonderful video showing the new lasers and enhancements. Made me love the show even more. Edit: my apologies as this looks to have already been posted. I'll leave here though for enjoyment.

Cantina de San Angel construction photo update

Actually, thats how they build the superstructure for docks that will have heavy daily traffic. The steel will be masked and if they are going for the dock/pier look, they'll add hundreds of brackets and attach wood planks to give the appearance its all wood but with the added strength of steel.

Hi-res photos of the TRON monorail

Looks pretty sharp. I wonder, given the dark nature of the movie, why they didn't paint the background a nice midnight blue or black. That would have made the bikes and streaks really pop. Looks good though.

    E:E Rumor

I probably missed something at some point, but didn't I read a while back they had been secretly fixing the Yeti and it was ready to go back to A mode? What happened with that "quietly kept secret"?

Epcot Christmas tree failures - it's getting embarassing

I think the best way to describe a visit to WDW is not for the attractions, not for the decor, but going for the EXPERIENCE. The experience is everything combined into one. Believe it or not, people flock to Disney every year during the holidays to take in the season Disney style. The problem...

Lights of Winter lives on! - at least the music does - Fountain of Nations video

Wow...I literally JUST missed it! :( Guess they are paying attention though, and it is too late to bring anything back this year. Maybe they'll reconsider what they did for next year. Also I'm a little confused by the lighting being out on the railings? It looks fine to me I believe. The...

    What Do ...

Watch out, they spit! Sorry, couldn't resist. Oh, and by the way, DDK stands for Driver Development Kit, which is now technically called Microsoft Windows Driver Kit. Whether it relates to this, I don't know, but considering RFID is also mentioned, it stands to reason its technology...
