Toy Story Land @ HKDL Opening Date?

All, Since its opening, I have been lucky enough to visit HKDL twice, though on both occasions it was obvious that it needs a huge expansion in the number of attractions - I never thought I'd see a Disney Park so quiet in all my life! Anyway, I'm set to visit HK again this November and am...

    Key to the World scheme?

Thank you so much. The internet is such a big place that some information is just near impossible to find. Gladly there are places like WDWmagic around! Many thanks again for your help!

    Key to the World scheme?

Me and my family are due to stay at the Animal Kingdom lodge in July and looking around the website, I read about the Key to the World scheme, whereby your tickets for the park is combined with your room key. However, I can't seem to find much about whether you have to purchase the tickets...

    Ratatouille Blu-Ray

Yes 11th February is the date Amazon states for UK, but it mentions nothing of the Blu-Ray release. Meanwhile the German Amazon gives its DVD release date (February 14th) and its Blu-Ray, which is on sale the same day. So why not confirm the Blu-Ray over here?

    Ratatouille Blu-Ray

I know this is out in America, but I was wondering if anyone had any idea whether this would be out in the UK at the same time as the DVD (which Amazon.co.uk is reporting will be released on 11/02/08). I have a PS3 and have held off importing a US DVD version of the film in the hope that the...

    Walt's Home up for Bid!

Quite right, he had a house in CA near the Playboy Mansion, but I believe Jennifer Lopez had it demolished and had her current house built.

    Ratatouille Film Premiere, UK

I have long been waiting for Ratatouille to be released here in the UK (it's not due until September) and having read the mostly sensational reviews, I'm just chomping at the bit. So I was wondering if I could buy a ticket for myself and girlfriend to the UK preimere, which will inevitably be...

Universal Orlando feeling the pressure to compete with YOAMD??

The Blackstone Group also owns a chain of cinemas in the UK called Cineworld Cinemas. They are notoriously tight, with regards to investment in the cinemas and what's more, there wasn't a hint of any free tickets for Universal before I went to Florida in June, either!

Will There Be a Possible RCT4?

Rct4 I too emailed Atari a few days ago to ask whether there would be a RCT4 and they told me what they told disneyrocks55 - no new RCT3 expandsion and no plans for a RCT4. As people have said, the popularity of the series has decreased with the third installment (no doubt due to the big...

    Ratatouille Merchandise

With Ratatouille coming up in a while, I was just wondering if Ratatouille merchandise is starting to hit shops, or when it will to hit shops over here in UK? I'd like a Ratatouille t-shirt, if only to raise awareness amongst my fellow cinema staff here in Wales, of whom only 2-3 know of the...

New Meet the Robinsons trailer - note: Quicktime

Meet The Robinsons Trailer actually looks great. Love Todayland and the T-Rex. We seem to be really pushing this at the cinema where I work (we have like 4 standees and umpteen posters for it)

Disney joins growing line for Endemol sale

"Spanish telecoms group Telephónica is preparing to accelerate plans to sell its majority stake in in Big Brother producer Endemol, as reports in Spain yesterday suggested Disney was the latest media group to add it's name to a lengthening list of potential buyers. Disney was reported to have...

    Best Western Lakeside - Kissimme

I visited in June/July and it was very nice. Admittedly, it's never going to win any awards, but it was clean, the staff were friendly and it's close to WDW. Good place to be in!

The Best Animatronic in all of Disney...your call!

I now its probably the newest, give or take a Jack Sparrow, but the Yeti really really amazed me when I rode EE.

    America's Next Muppet

I've just recently found this show idea on Wikipedia and after a quick search I've found threads from 2005 when the idea was originally floating about. Anywho, the Wiki page says the programme is in limbo. Anyway, can anyone say of any more recent hints / suggestions that this may go into...

Will Disney move to use RFID tags for purchases?

Will Disney implement it? Probably if they haven't already (I think the article mentions a scheme). But I dont think it will ever be used in the same way as Wet 'n' Wild do, simply because people aren't going to have anywhere to leave their wallets in the park and they're going to have to visit...

    MGM Studios

Although there are very obvious differences between them, do you think there is a general downturn in the appeal of MGM and general 'Studio' style themeparks bearing in mind that Universal Studios isn't doing so well either?

    Sea World or Universal?

I guess it totally depends what you're after. If you want to visit somewhere that has lots of thrilling rides then Universal is probably the right place to go, but if you'd prefer just a few thrill rides and a bit more of an educational experience with lots of shows and animals then SeaWorld is...
