Our son will be graduating today with honor chords in art, music and physical education and has received numerous scholarships for his freshman year in college. My wife and I are so...

    sold out?

We have been to two sold out MVMCP's in the past and it doesn't seem overly crowded. You'll have a great time the later parade is the one you'll want to go to as it was better for us and crowd seemed a little lighter.

    Not so magical

I'm sure I am not going to be the only one who picks apart your post but, I can say that you did go to WDW during the most busiest times of the year hence the crowd levels. And yes, I understand crowd capacity and safety and they should try to limit capacity level and do so with phase closing...

There are two and if memory serves correctly they are $1.50 each. You may want to have someone confirm toll as our trip was in Aprl.

7DMT is currently on fire (11/1/14)

Just jumping in here for a moment. First I wasn't at WDW when this fire occurred so this is just my opinion from being in the fire service for over 30 years. The fire appears to have been involving some very flammable material and with the wind being what is was caused a quick spread. Now, there...

    WDW still amazing?

Yes, of course take your family but, go with realistic expectations. What I mean is, go with knowing that WDW is not going to hand you everything as you see some of the naysayers complaining about. Go with the excitement of knowing how the look on your children's faces will be when they first...

    Disney vs Non Disney Hotels

We started going to WDW in 2003 when our family was just a family of four since then it has grown to 7 so, in 2007 we bought into DVC but due to financial difficulties we had to sell it to say I was heartbroken was an understatement. My DW is always on the hunt for bargains and found Bonnett...

    Kids on Walt's statue

@DisneyDebNJ getting off topic, I like your profile picture. Robert visited our station and one of our captains made a great meal for him. In fact he sent us a set of his knives which by far are the best knives we have ever used...

    Kids on Walt's statue

To me I think that some have the idea it's an entitlement to them they believe that it's thier once and a liftime trip maybe never coming back and they have the attitude that "I will do want I want cause I can do what I want". I truly believe in some peoples mindset they paid big dollars for...

    Kids on Walt's statue

I'm going to chime in on the IPad debate, my DW has a top of the line cell phone and an IPad but,, when we are at WDW she never brings the IPad to the parks. She has a wonderful digital camera which also can be used to record video and I'll tell you what she has taken some amazing pictures with...

    Kids on Walt's statue

Now, let's put a little twist on my thread? As the children decide to come down off the statue and walk across the grass and trample the flowers they proceed to step over the fence surrounding Walt's statue it's dark, hard to see and with that little Johnny catches his foot, falls to the ground...

    Kids on Walt's statue

This is my point exactly! I have four children 16, 13, 11 and 6 and I would never and I mean never allow this. We have been to WDW many times and have been to this statue and if any of my children were to go over a fence, through flowers to climb on a statue I would be furious. The only time I...

    Kids on Walt's statue

This picture was posted on a Facebook page. Shows kids climbing all over the Walt Disney Statue at Magic Kingdom. How disrespectful of the kids and how stupid some parents can be to allow this type of behavior.

    Who's the Disney Boss?

Oh, without a doubt it my DW for sure!! I'll see an article about WDW and mention it to her and her response will be "duh, I knew that a few days ago, where've you been"? I will admit it she does know all there is to know about what's happening at WDW and a wonderful trip planner and how to save...

Unexpected acts of kindness by CMs

Just wanted to add another CM story from our April trip. My family and I were exiting Playhouse Disney and planning our next move when we heard a child and adults scream it wasn't the happy screams you hear in WDW it was an I'm hurt scream. I look over and see a small child around 6 had been run...
