    Atlantic Dance hall??

Yes, as long as that theme park isn't Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios, since buses don't travel from there to Boardwalk, you can do that. Also, Animal Kingdom likely wouldn't work, either, since you'll probably be headed over to Boardwalk well after DAK has closed. Of the options you...

What do CM do when they close a park?

I don't know what the law, if any, is in Florida about this, but Disney does have a two-hour minimum report time rule.

    Disney Tackles Lines

Ooh! I got it! How about implanting a chip in each Guest as they enter the parks? Then, they could also use it to send a mild electric shock to Guests who misbehave. And, of course, they could also offer limited edition chips for Guests to collect. :ROFLOL:

    Disney Tackles Lines

Not only that, on most attractions adding another ride vehicle would actually cause the lines to get considerably longer, since the ride would have to be completely shut down for the vehicle to be brought out. Since there would be a desire to not break up the ride experience of those already...

    Disney Bus Fatally Hits Pedestrian

I would have to agree with this. None of the three bus types used at WDW would be able to make such a tight turn. Indeed, it is amazing that they manage some of the turns that they have to make on a few of the backstage routes around property. I know one other poster was told by a bus driver...

What do CM do when they close a park?

Although it was a bit of a different situation, when it rained on a morning that I had signed up for a parking shift at Typhoon Lagoon, I was given the choice of either going home and only getting paid for the short time I'd worked or being sent to Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios, as they...

    Epcot music update

If you are still looking for the new (now old) or old (now recently new) loop, please send me a PM and let me know if you want it in MP3 or WMA format.

Disappointed in the Disney bus service

That part is indeed true. Once the journey code is entered into the computer by the driver, the destination sign will change for each leg of the journey based on a location trigger, just like the announcements. Sometimes, this trigger will not be picked up right away (or occasionally, not at...

    PI Closed?

They must have noticed somebody actually having fun at Pleasure Island and figured that something suspicious was afoot.

Another Disney bus crash - Aug 20

Considering that the driver of the car in this incident was responsible for hitting the bus, I'm not quite sure how this would at all reflect on Disney Transport. Although the bus drivers were at fault in several of the recent accidents, there were more than a few where the bus driver did not...

    Acronyms

Master Yoda explained it very well. At WDW, this particularly refers to the strip that runs down the center of this map, along World Drive. At one point, this was actually used as a runway. Now, it is usually only used as a bus staging area.

    Contemporary transportation

Unless they have changed, the bus routes from the Contemporary to Downtown Disney should be as follows. Before 11 AM: Contemporary ---- Polynesian ---- Typhoon Lagoon ---- Downtown Disney Marketplace From 11 AM: Contemporary ---- Polynesian ---- Downtown Disney Marketplace ---- Downtown...

    transportation question

As others have said. the walk between Boardwalk and Epcot is short, only about 5 to 10 minutes, depending on where at Boardwalk you are walking from. Also, the Epcot resorts that have boat service to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios do not have bus transportation to those locations. The...

    Buses from Epcot Resorts

This is really only true when there is lightning within two miles of the boats' service area. Admittedly, this happens quite a bit during the summer, but usually for short periods of time. Rain without lightning won't stop them.

    Disney Internship

Since you didn't really provide any specific questions, I can't really give you any specific information about the program. I am also unsure if you are looking to do the program at Walt Disney World or Disneyland. As the two are very different, the answers that I can give about WDW may not...

Resort Monorail only for resort guests?

If that's the line on the Express side at closing, that's pretty darn good!

    Taking Disney Transportation to DTD

Unless you fell asleep and missed several Downtown Disney buses, I find it kind of doubtful that you waited over an hour on two ocassions. The longest wait I've ever experienced for a Disney bus was 40 minutes from Caribbean Beach to Disney-MGM Studios back in 2006 when I had a shift where I...

    Transportation issues

Overall, excellent advice. I just had to point out, though, that there are no buses between Epcot and the Polynesian, since both are on the Monorail system, and a change of trains would be required at the TTC.

    Disney buses

I feel the same way! Currently, I am a Food & Beverage supervisor at a water park here in NJ and, compared to the prices there, the ones at WDW are almost like the food is being given away for free. Also, while the quality of the food isn't bad at this park, it doesn't compare with the quality...
