    It's been awhile...

We used to go to WDW a few times a year but due to circumstances beyond our control have not been back since 2008. We are finally returning next week. My son has not been since he was 7 months old. He is 7 years old now and I can't wait to share my favorite place on Earth with him. Much has...

Ever seen someone famous while at wdw?

Once after waiting in line for awhile for Peter Pan's Flight a group of people came up to the front of the line and were escorted right in. I asked around and found out later it was Wayne Brady and his family. Another time I was there while Oprah was taping something at the Magic Kingdom. I saw...

    FINALLY going back...

It's been almost 5 years since my last trip to Disney World and I am thrilled to be in the planning stages for a return trip this November. I have read about the many changes going on around the parks but I still have a few questions. Captain EO! I know they brought it back after MJ passed...

WDW with a 7 month old?

We went with our son when he was 7 months old and had no problems at all! He loved meeting the characters and didn't fuss or cause any scenes the whole time. Of course, now he's about to turn one and I don't think I'd want to take him at the moment, but 7 month olds are much more managable!

    Birthdays at Disney

I've spent around 7 or 8 birthdays in the parks in my adult life and have always proudly worn the birthday pin. Every time the special treatement from the cast never fails to amaze me. This year I was there on my birthday and we stopped for lunch in Tomorrowland. The CM taking my order commented...

    Star Wars Weekends 2008

June? Aww they used to have SWW in May! :brick: This will be my first birthday in the parks since '01 and I was hoping they'd have Star Wars Weekends while I was there. Oh well...

How badly Leave a Legacy failed!

I think it was a nice idea but it really wasn't done properly. I always felt that the Leave A Legacy tombstones would have been better suited if they were towards the rear of the park, perhaps around the area of the walkway to the World Showcase. Right there at the enterace makes it look...

    I'm moving and so bummed

I lived right below you in Pompano Beach and now I live over 3,000 miles away in Oregon so I can understand how you feel. If it makes you feel any better I can honestly say that now that I live so far away from the magic, it really has helped me to appreciate my time there when I go back. It's a...

    Transformers.

I saw it last night too. I was worried that it would fall short like many summer blockbusters with classic characters that never lived up to the hype. Transformers rocked though! It's the first movie I've seen since Episode III that I have the urge to go see again on the big screen.

    Broadway shows At Disney world???

I've often wondered why Disney doesn't set up some sort of permanent stage for their Broadway shows like Aida and The Lion King. It makes perfect sense to me too! (Along the same lines, how about a movie theater that shows the animated classics all on the big screen? I just saw Snow White on the...

    Guess who I spotted?!?!

I'm glad you're Ok! After all, staring at Chuck Norris for extended periods of time without proper eye protection will cause blindess, and possibly foot sized brusies on the face!

    Hunchback of Notre Dame Show

I always enjoyed it and felt that it was a much better production than some other *cough*beautyandthebeast*cough* shows that are still around. At least I have some good photos to look at and remember.

    Scared of coasters...help

I'm scared of roller coasters too. Disney is the exception. I don't know what it is but I love going on Disney coasters! Rockn Rollercoaster, Big Thunder, Everest, California Screamin' - I don't know what it is but I just don't get scared on them and they are in fact some of my favorite rides in...

    POR or POFQ?

I have never stayed at POFQ. I've always wanted to but I completely love POR more than the other moderates and deluxe resorts that I've stayed in so when I go to WDW and it comes time for the reservations I always go back there. I'm very happy with the layout of the Resort and the food court and...

    How many Disney shirts?

I probably have somewhere around 40 or 50. I get to wear tee shirts to work and practically every tee I have has some sort of Disney character on it, mostly Stitch. Some Mickey and Princesses too. Today I'm wearing Lightning McQueen. Kachow!

    Transformers 7-4-07

I'm a bit out of the loop when it comes to Transformers. I used to play with the toys alot when I was growing up and watched the cartoons and read the comics. Transformers were big with me until the animated movie came out and after that I could never bear to play with them anymore. The movie...

    ? about Star Wars weekends

I've been to Star Wars Weekends several times. The main difference between those weekends and any other time is the abundance of Star Wars merchandise available and all of the photo ops with Star Wars characters. I usually don't bother waiting in line for authgraphs from the film stars as it's...
