If you got spoiled by the Poly, always remember that renting DVC points through a reputable broker like David's is a heckuva lot cheaper than shelling out rack rate for a deluxe.

Yikes! Rope drop is not anywhere on our priority list, partly due to mob scenes like this, but mainly due to the fact that I am the only person in the family who is a morning person (a condition imposed on me during a 30-year air force career), and the aggravation of trying to get everyone else...

When we booked our very first WDW/DCL vacation back in late 2008, we used a TA. Due to my unfamiliarity with WDW and DCL and the complexity of everything -- 5 days at WDW for 4 of us pre-cruise, followed by a 7-night DCL cruise for 14 people, with multiple flight itineraries, DME, pre-cruise...

So our "non-park day" on Wednesday, March 7 has now become a "half-non-park day", as we will likely spend the late afternoon and evening at MK for evening EMH. That will make Friday (our scheduled MK day) a bit less hectic.

Less than 2 weeks to go....

We have scheduled a mid-week "non-park day" for our upcoming trip to VGF. DW, DD and DD's friend plan on doing the spa and high tea.... neither of which interest me in the least. If the weather is nice, I may just laze by the pool with a book. If not, I may hop on the monorail and check out...

We stayed at Kidani about 5 years ago and I think we calculated the walk from the lobby to our room at just about a quarter mile, so I hear ya :-)
