Thanks for the info. I thought they were only extending tickets for people that had trips planned between The closing and the re-opening. Are they also doing this for trips that were planned later this year?
I have a trip planned for the end of August and we are planning on canceling it. We have the magic ticket promotion for one theme park per day for 4 days. It was $89 a day or $356 for the total. I haven't contacted customer service yet, because I know they are dealing with people that had...
When we went a few years ago, the food was good, but the portions were small. After we were done eating, I actually went out to the Boardwalk and got a slice of pizza.
I have a trip booked for that same week. Just one theory. I booked my trip last October. At the beginning of October, Disney was offering discounts for the first 4 months of the year. Once the New Year started, Disney ended those promotions and is currently offering new discounts for those first...
This is what I would do, since I have done multiple split stays. I would do online check-in at Coronado. Bring your bag to bell services at All Star Movies and have them transfer them for you. Go to the Magic Kingdom and you will receive a text from Coronado, when your room is ready. When you...
A few years ago, I had this happen to me at La Hacienda. Their system was down, so I gave them a credit card to charge the meal. The next day I went to guest relations at my resort. They refunded the charge and gave me 2 extra dining credits. I ended up eating at an unexpected signature...
Ate at the Kona Cafe a few weeks ago. For apps, had the lobster and crab mac and cheese. Some of the best I have ever had. The wings were also very good. My sandwich was so-so. I ate at the Wave a few years ago and was disappointed with the portions.
I realize that the Polynesian has always been near the top of deluxe resorts in regards to pricing, but it seems like the prices have become insane. I was searching a bunch of different weeks for March 2020 and all of the standard rooms are going for over $550 and that's with the 10% discount...
My thought has always been......If we are going to arrive at a time when our room will be ready, I take my bags with me. If I am going to arrive early in the day and go straight to the theme parks, then I use the delivery service. If I was arriving at 6 P.M. and not going to a theme park, then I...
I had similar experiences with the website. I have made changes that didn't show up on the "My Disney Experience" page, but if you click on the "change my reservation" link, The new info was there. You could always click on the help button of the website and chat with someone through that.
Sorry I am replying to this so long after. I don't understand your response. If I stay less nights, I spend less money. We used to spend around $4000, for a week trip. Now we spend around $3000, for a 5 night trip. I'm not spending the same amount. I'm spending around $1000 less.
I'm the type of person that doesn't take signs into my own interpretation. The sign also says,"Children under 12 must have adult supervision". If your child is 11, they probably wouldn't care, but why take the chance.
Isn't it amazing now a days that people can use the phrase,"I think" over and over again, when someone is posting the actual sign that is outside of the pool area. Both signs said, "no food or drink in pool or on pool deck". Where is the grey area?
It's amazing to read how people don't understand why you would do a split stay. We do this every time we go to Disney. I am not a rich person, but would like to experience all of the Deluxe resorts. We usually do a few nights at one of the Deluxe resorts and then the rest of the trip is...
