    BRUTAL New Commercial!

My "little" girl will be 20 next month and I am up early this morning to take her to the airport so she can head back to school which is 1300 miles away. Those few times each year we get to see her are so precious; yes, that commercial tugs at my heart

A guy I used to work with in Houston once bought park hoppers and visited his daughter who was attending UCF at the time. Their mission was to ride all the Disney coasters in a day - he said he and his daughter had a blast doing it, but RnRc was their last and they barely got that one in. Note...

The closest (best) beaches from Orlando

Atlantic coast = meh, Gulf coast is much, much prettier! Drive a tad further south than the typical Clearwater/St. Pete and you will find gorgeous Siesta Key beach with limited crowds

Pay more, get less. When does it end?

Your reply resonated with me. My family has vacationed in Orlando every other year for some time now. Last few times we have only spent 2 days of our week going to parks and only quick service food, just too pricey and too much time standing in line. The general trend of pay more, get less is...

    Wyndham Bonnet Creek

Our family has stayed at WBC twice, both times I bought the weeks off eBay sellers, zero issues either time

Where in WDW is your “happy place”?

Walking through the ticketing gates at Epcot and seeing Spaceship earth while hearing the background music play

When will the next non-IP based ride open?

I don't see never as a poll option lol Ironically, several movies have been made out of Disney attractions/lands - POTC, Haunted Mansion, Tomorrowland

Relatively quiet areas in the theme parks

I'll 2nd that. We stopped there and had a snack on one of the benches and pretty much had the place to ourselves - ws rather enjoyable and relaxing

Be honest, how weird is it for a male to go on Solo trip?

Is it weird? No, not in the least bit and hope you have a great time! For me personally however, who has never been to Disney parks alone, I would find myself reminiscing about the times I went there with my wife and kids and would have a hard time enjoying being there alone. Too many great...

Escaping Magic Kingdom to Drinkingland, Epcot for a better crowd

The problem with MK is constantly being cutoff/run into by the thousands of impatient stroller pushers, which is amplified by the incessantly large crowds and lack of real estate. We find Epcot much more relaxing and enjoyable

Bonnet Creek reviews? (non-Disney resort on Disney property)

We have stayed at WBC resort twice. Have nothing bad to say about it really, you get a ton of space and amenities for a fraction of the price of a Disney moderate. Parking lots/garages do get crowded however. As far as the timeshare pitch: both times at check in we were given a very brief...

    We are Going to WDW!!

Those aren't "bring a swimsuit" temps, unless the pool is heated. I need water temps to be in the 80s or I'm not going in lol

Disney Springs - A must do or just another mall

Have only been to DS once, this past June. Honestly, I was skeptical of the "re-branding" of Downtown Disney but found myself pleasantly surprised. The ambience of the place is pretty cool. My wife had to go into Guest Services that evening and I waited outside on the chairs with my 2 kids...

    Rumor The EPCOT Hotel

Just scanned this thread. Why so much talk about said hotel being located *inside* the park? Simply do not see that happening under any scenario.

Trip Report The countdown just hit zero - We’re in Disney right now!

Many have already complimented on this, but I just have to add: you have a great eye for pictures, they really do a great job of making the viewer think they are "there" with you. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

    Too crowded

I looked at MDE app twice this week. Space mtn was 20 min wait both times (afternoon). It will be 6x that long come Christmas break. There may be no "slow" season but some times are definitely busier than others. October is below average crowds, enjoy it if you are able to go this time of year

    Wyndham Bonnet Creek

That might be the rack rate for renting from WBC itself. Try looking on eBay for the dates you want, effectively renting from an owner who is selling a week they won't use, I've done it twice in the past, zero issues either time. We ended up renting a house this summer but I checked WBC before...

The Worst Disney World Rides That Are a "Waste of Time"

Ever since I was a child I found the Swiss treehouse fascinating. Never saw the movie, it was just the idea of how cool it would be to live in something like that. Treehouse Masters: eat your heart out!

    Hotel Options by Disney Springs

Spent a week at that place in 2011 - kids loved the pirate ship pool.

    What will be more popular?

Star Wars land will bring fans who may have never stepped into a Disney theme park before. I would bet my house it will be THE most popular theme park land ever built, easily eclipsing Harry Potter, Pandora, and Toy Story.
