CSR for the same price as POP plus a $200 gift card. Wow! How did you score that? I have stayed at both resorts, most recently at the CSR this past December. Both are nice but the CSR is the better choice IMHO. Construction did not impact us at all during our stay.

I saw on DSNY Newscast that the top speed would be 32 MPH (equal to 7DMT) but faster than Space Mountain which surprisingly only reaches a top speed of 28 MPH. The ride time is a reported 90 seconds.

From my experience, if you want a seat closer to the front (water) then you should plan on getting to the show at least 30 minutes prior to the start time. If you are ok sitting a little further back then you should be ok getting there 15 minutes or so early.

I had similar concerns prior to my trip in December 2017. I am 6' 3" and 295lbs and I was able to ride with no problem. Enjoy, it is an amazing experience!
