Better than the original ?

But these aren't rumours and News. It's just someone making something up, and then we get 100 pages of fan boy/girl suggesting a certain type of attraction and where it could go, etc Isn't there a fantasy type section on this board - that's where this belongs.

Everything looks nice on plans - the Paris version looks good when you see the drawings. But when you actually see it in person i can't actually get over how awful it was - it was just so tacky and cheap looking. I couldn't for the life of me believe this was in a Disney park.

If this is anything like the version in Paris and Hong Kong we are in for a shambolic attraction/s. I remember when it was being planned in Hong Kong, people were saying it couldn't be as bad, cheap and awful as the Paris version - but ultimately it was even worst.

That won't happen. This thread will go on and on and on and on and on - even in the year 2034 there will be members clamouring about a rumoured new attraction.

Was the film a massive success? It didn't garner great reviews, or leave a legacy in the way Toy Story, Shrek, Finding Nemo did .... it made 100 million than Finding Doreen too.

Any news on this project or has it been cancelled? Remember we had quotes before the film was released that they were going to build an attraction at Universal for this. Now nothing.

YAWN .... another fantasy thread to join up the new atrraction in Epcot thread, along with the new attraction for Magic Kingdom thread, and possible third new land in Studios thread, not forgetting the yawnsome roller coaster attraction for Epcot. All becoming tedious now.

I guess we can add this to more of the fantasy by some users - along with the whole Epcot expansion, new country in Epcot, complete re-do of Tomorrowland, another new ride for Hollywood Studios, the roller coaster for Epcot, etc etc ROLLS EYES

Is this seriously looking at a 2020 opening? I'm shocked that they will let DHS rot for so long.

I really despair if this will be anything like the Paris version. Please trust me the Toy Story Land in Paris is so cheap, so rubbish, not very Disney at all. I was shocked at how appalling it was.

A bloody coaster? Underwhelming i must say when a theme park decides that a roller coaster is their attraction of choice. It's cheap and crass.

So i visit the Ratatouille attraction in Paris last month, and really enjoyed it. It's by no means a top tier attraction, but sure enough beats most of the attractions Disney has at it's Orlando parks. The theming of the area was wonderful - a replica of a Parisian town. But there's something...

Please no. Leave the cheap looking roller coasters to Six Flags and other budget parks. I don't mind the odd high class coaster, but too many are an excuse by those in charge to put in place attractions at budget costs.

Exterior looks good - in keeping with a studio theme. But really - another screen based attraction? Getting way too much now. It's diluting the good screen attractions they have. Once you walk into Universal, you'll be faced with Shrek, Despicable Me, and now this - all the same screen type...
