So how is this space different from any other space in EPCOT? Custodial works hard and does a good job at other, more problematic areas. You can feel however you want about the executive level decisions on this project, but leave the boots on the ground CMs out of it.

I'm not sure straight up ignoring the work of custodial cast members is a good look.

There's an awful lot of seating and tables in the garden area right next to Communicore Plaza for there not to be some kind of food prep, right?

EPCOT, famously, has nothing else to do.

The area as it is now was also designed post-demolition, which extended the time dramatically.

The only reason it existed at all is to get people from the north entrance into the park. Now that the center area is open, it's no longer needed. I'm looking forward to when World Nature becomes a corner, honestly.
