Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

So we're getting a boat ride to tell a story in which a kingdom's water completely freezes over.

Kodak sponsorship with Disney Parks to end this year

    A GoPro/Redbull co-sponsored attraction. Just saying.

    The Great Goofini

Disney has continually said the moving and doubling of Dumbo is to meet ridership demand. I say, just by moving Dumbo from it's iconic, behind Cinderella's Castle spot, will decrease demand for the ride. Many WDW commercials in the 80s and 90s had a family flying in Dumbo with Fireworks or...

Tom Hanks & Tim Allen in Jungle Cruise

ComingSoon.net is reporting that Disney has confirmed Tom Hanks and Tim Allen will star in Jungle Cruise. Great casting. I'm slightly shocked Tom Hanks would agree a film based of a theme park ride. But then again, I was shocked Johnny Depp signed onto a 4th, and possible more, pirate films...

    Countdown to Fun opening

Oh I see what they did there...they changed "one" to "fun." You know, because they rhyme. Clever Disney. Clever.

Beauty and the Beast 20th Anniversary Audio Commentary... By Us!

This is a fantastic idea. Disney should undertake a crowdsourced commentary from fans for one of their re-releases. Make it a D23 exclusive deal.

New Living Character Meet and Greets being tested at DL

Is it just me or are the soles of Mickey's shoes really thick?

New Living Character Meet and Greets being tested at DL

I'm not entirely convinced Mickey's friend is controlling everything. It appeared Mickey's movements became more specific when he spoke about the princess posses. Those line felt scripted and might have been practiced with those movements. The main reason I have for believing it is a two...

    MI2 Greenlighted! DHS Coaster Too?

Carsland at DCA received a green light because of continued sales of Cars' merchandise way after the film's release, not because Disney was contemplating a sequel. Disney does not need to build an attraction to promote a film. Sure, it is advertisement for the film, but most people who visit...

Big changes at the Studios Rumors

There would be no incentive to stay a whole day at the parks. A lot of families would hit their top attractions then go back to the pool. Disney doesn't care if you do all the attractions you want in the shortest amount of time. Fastpass was implemented to make guests shop and eat while one...

Of course when exiting the park you can ride the Monorail: The Search For Your Missing Money.

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids - animated?

Aren't the opening credits animated? I haven't seen the movie in forever so I don't remember the animated characters having voices. And why the voices would be different from the principle actors.

Princess and the frog a failure?

Disney did not have high expectations for Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons and Bolt. That's the difference between those features and Princess and the Frog. Meet the Robinsons had a poor release date and very limited marketing push. Bolt switched directors during productions. Lasseter also...

Princess and the frog a failure?

The only reason Princess and the Frog had such a small percentage drop from Sunday to Monday compared to the other films was because it did not have a high Sunday Box-Office intake. Avatar could not sustain a $28 million intake on a non holiday weekday. But Princess and the Frog can easily bring...

Princess and the frog a failure?

High box-office numbers usually translate into strong DVD sales. So all of these posts saying PATF will have "legs" which will translate into strong DVD sales, is currently unlikely. I have a feeling PATF will end up with a domestic total of around $80 million. Atlantis back in 2001 made $84...

From Boxofficemojo.com. Is this a good opening?

You can not compare Princess and the Frog to the Lion King in terms of opening weekends. The boxoffice atmosphere was a lot different in 1994. Movies in the 90's would play well over a period of time because there were not two to three new movies opening each weekend. While not competing...

From Boxofficemojo.com. Is this a good opening?

Alvin and the Chipmunks is going to be a huge draw. I do not foresee Princess and the Frog crossing $100 million domestically. I have a feeling it will recoup its budget between domestic and international markets. That's just not good enough to have Disney greenlight more hand drawn features.

Concerns About Princess and the Frog...

I've read lukewarm reviews for the film, so it may not matter on the release date.

    Old Dogs

Worst movie I've seen in years. Disney keeps recruiting the talent but not executing a worthy film.

What would WDW look like if the collective minds of this message board was in charge?

In order to enter into the parks, guests would have to answer three Disney trivia questions. Essentially eliminating all tourists.
