    Have I Become Jaded?

I guess I could have gotten into every single detail but I chose to try from rambling on and on. I'm a seasoned Disney visitor. I have very realistic expectations and know not to expect the Disney vacation you see in commercials. And to be quite honest, I wouldn't have made a peep about the...

    Have I Become Jaded?

So first, let me start by saying this post could easily fall under this category or Trip Reports category but I settled on here since I'm not going to recall all of my trip. Second, I swear I'm not just looking for a place to complain. I am a Disney parks fanatic through and through and I feel...

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Again, I'm no expert but it definitely appeared to be technical to me. The lotus was wide open and the ladder was very visible inside but they didn't even attempt to raise it from what I could see. I know there's a lot of back and forth on the show but I thought it was beautiful. I did feel it...

News Wishes to be replaced with new 'Happily Ever After' nighttime spectacular

I realize not everyone shares the same opinion but after paying a premium for party tickets, I felt a little ripped off getting the old fireworks show when I had seen the amazing HEA just a few days earlier. I loved Wishes but I feel like if you create a technologically advanced show that hasn't...

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

While I can't comment on the problem, I can confirm that last week it was not in use during performances.

New Mickey and Minnie heads - how we feeling?

I know, it's so crazy to me. If anything, Disney On Ice should be the LAST thing to get them since they're produced by a totally different company than the Walt Disney Company. I think right now, Magic Kingdom is the closest thing to a full rollout we've seen with just Minnie meeting in...

New Mickey and Minnie heads - how we feeling?

I'm just disappointed that we STILL haven't seen a full rollout of the new Mickey and Minnie heads

Choza de Margarita Coming to Epcot's Mexico Pavilion

Maybe I'm wrong but if they're adding signage out front, I would think this would be open in the next week or two? I know as soon as they got the signs up for BaseLine Taphouse, it was open within a couple of weeks.

New Mickey and Minnie heads - how we feeling?

The parade has changed officially I believe. Both FoF and Boo To You from what I have seen. What's crazy is that Minnie has her new face during the parade at MNSSHP but has her old face in her witch costume that she meets in.

New Mickey and Minnie heads - how we feeling?

I just REALLY wish they would get this whole conversion done at WDW. I know I say this all the time but they have had so much time! I'm super excited they've changed the parades and shows and Mickey's M&G on Main Street but geez, how long does it take for the rest of the M&G's at the parks?

If you could give one attraction one major update

lol I knew it was coming but I had to put it out there.

If you could give one attraction one major update

I could make a list of refurbs I would love to see but one thing I would love to see if a retheming of Splash Mountain. I think it's the perfect setting for a Princess and the Frog themed ride. It makes sense as Song of the South isn't even acknowledged by Disney anymore and the infrastructure...

New Mickey and Minnie heads - how we feeling?

I'm still not 100% sure what's going on with Minnie's head at the meet and greets but I did see yesterday that the new faces are now in use in the Festival of Fantasy with their respective FoF costumes.

    Echo Lake Refurbishment

I could definitely see them moving it to a more discreet area for sure. It'll be interesting to see what they do.

    Echo Lake Refurbishment

I wouldn't be surprised to see it when it opens. In fact, I'd be surprised NOT to see it there with as popular as it has remained.

    What Makes a "Real" Fan?

I'm not a good person to weigh in on this as I often get irritated with people who say things like, "I love Disney too! My kids and I love Despicable Me" I'm pretty sure I see red when I hear that. But also, I know I'm not as knowledgeable about Disney as other people on these boards. In fact...

To pay for Very Merry Christmas... or not? what am I missing?

There's also Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration (The castle stage show). We find the parties to be worth it because it's a fun, special thing to do. If your budget allows and you enjoy the childlike mood surrounding Christmas, I'm sure your family will love it. Definitely not noticeably less...

New Mickey and Minnie heads - how we feeling?

Looks like Mickey and Minnie debuted their new faces in the FoF today at Magic Kingdom. Not sure if this is permanent or not. It's worth noting that they're in their old costumes but as some have pointed out, that does tend to happen if there is rain which was the case today...

Disney offering new Fantasmic Dessert and VIP Viewing Experience

I went in and pretended as if I was booking another date. It's under a section titled "Guest Policies"

Disney offering new Fantasmic Dessert and VIP Viewing Experience

It was mentioned during the booking process. There is a little area for the "small print" when it's talking about cancellations and paying in advance and all that, it says seating is in the first two rows and guests may get wet.
