    Caribe Royale opinons..

That is actually our family's preferred hotel, and the drive into Disney is very convenient. It is not next to I4 like many of the hotels, so it is quiet. The rooms are comfy and clean. The pool is great. Also, a short trip down International brings you to a Publix, Subway, and Outback...

HISTK play area and Backlot Tour

I would even settle for a clone of the Monsters Inc ride from DCA instead of the backlot tour.

    Grim Grinning Ghosts Help!!

There is a bust garden at MGM (in front of the old Superstar Television building). It could be from there, assuming that the 82 is not the year the bust was made (maybe it refers to something else?), knowing that MGM opened in '89.

Help! I have a vegetarian friend!

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions! I have looked at the quick service menus and didn't see much, which is why I am a little worried. I know that AK has Pizzafari and salmon at Tusker House. I am mainly concerned about the MK and MGM.

Do you dream about WDW Attractions???

I had a reoccuring nightmare that I couldn't get into Disneyland. I would try to get in by hot air balloon, but couldn't find the park. I then had a dream that I was in Las Vegas and rented a car, determined to drive to Disneyland, only to discover that there was no road that could take me to...

Help! I have a vegetarian friend!

I am going to WDW in August with a friend that hasn't been to WDW in ten years. She is mostly vegetarian, with the only exception being fish. What are your top picks for quick service in the theme parks for vegetarians? We plan on hitting all four parks, so suggestions for all four would be...

    Mickey Mouse Ears?

The best thing to do is buy your ears at Downtown Disney (World of Disney Store) and run them over to the Christmas store to be embroidered. Then go have dinner and by the time you're done eating, the ears will be done!

    Do these Characters exist?

King Triton also shows up in Spectromagic, but does not do any meet and greets.

    Favorite Healthy Meal Choices??

My theory is little substitutions along the way... -Have only 1 Mickey Premium bar. After that, switch to the much healthier strawberry bars. -Water and diet soda only! Sugary drinks are full of calories and don't really help you stay hydrated. -Share! Get yourself a side salad or bowl of...

mary blair 5 legged goat Contemporary mural....

I saw the five legged goat when taking the resort express monorail. It is not on the side of the mural that the TTC/MK monorail passes. It is at the top right of the wall. Happy hunting!

Disney mentioned in non disney movies

What about Malcolm's line in Jurassic Park? But when The Pirates of the Caribbean breaks down, the pirates don't eat the tourists.

    saving money at disney..

I always make a list of who I am buying souvenirs for. Sometimes, I even go as far as figuring out about how much I want to spend on each person. That way, when I go shopping, I can get something for everyone and buy within the budget I've set for each gift. It elimates over or under buying...

    People are so ignorant...

When I was a CP, and an already experienced WDW guest, I decided to take my new CP friends around the parks. They knew nothing and were impressed by how much I already knew. We went to MGM and I began asking them what we wanted to do. One of them chimed in and asked to ride the Haunted...

    Fireworks from Outside of MK

What about the water pageant? What time is that? It's not as great as Spectromagic, but you can hop on the monorail and go to the Polynesian. Enjoy sitting on the beach, watch the water pageant go by, and have a perfect view of the castle and Wishes.

    I have a dilemna....which resort?

You could always just straw straws. :p I know in my family, the resolution would be to not stay at any of those, and try something new, different, or unexpected. That way, nobody wins and the conflict is avoided. All of the Disney hotels are so nice, you'll have a nice time no matter what.

    i need advice!

The way we always solved it is to do some things together, and then split up later and decide on a meeting time and place. For example, you can all shop on Main Street and enjoy breakfast at the bakery. Then, you go your way and your friend's party goes theirs, knowing that you will meet at...
