    Rider Switch Question

for 7dmt, yes. we waited in line until we were back at the entrance to the original queue (took about 20 minutes to get to that point).....For space mountain, the CM said we'd have to go through to the merge point.....That reasoning would make sense. We had zero other issues with rider switch...

    Rider Switch Question

We just returned from a FANTASTIC trip. Our travel group included my wife, son (7), son (2), and son (1). On our Magic Kingdom day, we had two instances where Rider Switch was different than what we've done in the past: at both 7dmt and Space Mountain, the cast members told us that our entire...

Rumor 40% Capacity Soon? What if I Told You That We’re Already There

We just returned from (1/24-1/30). I didn't have the same experience as the other poster. There were certain places where the walkways were crowded. However, the waits were short and constantly moving across all 4 parks we visited. We found the wait times to all be inflated; most...

News Disney will be ending complimentary MagicBand distribution to Disney Resort hotel guests and moving to smart devices

Tracking updated this morning (US Postal Service). The package has been moving, but the tracking hasn't been updating. Expected delivery Monday........I know a lot of smart people figure out the fastest, most efficient ways of moving items. It fascinates me that the best method of getting...

News Disney will be ending complimentary MagicBand distribution to Disney Resort hotel guests and moving to smart devices

I have a trip booked for the 24th-30th of January. Received an email on the 29th with tracking information for my Magic Bands. I have checked the tracking information every day and it shows that they are awaiting pickup, but no updates. Is this a glitch? Should I still expect to receive...

Strongly Considering a Trip to WDW: Please Help me plan or talk me out of it

We did a trip in September of '19 with a 5 year old and an 8 month old. It will be a great trip for your family. Rider Switch gave the big kid a chance to ride some things twice, and the baby had a chance to rest and recharge while we used it. My wife nursed the baby during shows, and slow...

News Park hopping to return January 1st 2021

Nailed it......just a matter of time before this thread gets hijacked. Cheers to the Park Hopper coming back! With less to see in each park (even on a shorter day) Park Hopping makes sense to me!

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

I haven't commented much on this thread. I've read it every day since this whole mess started and I can usually appreciate the opinions - even if I don't agree with them. The praise of China is it for me. Hope you all come out of this ok. I'm out.

And I'm not disagreeing with you. I simply meant that I can see why there's mistrust - whether justified or not.

I'm sorry, but that's not who I am. I don't call out, I do what I should responsibly do.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

I wholeheartedly agree with your pov. I would only add that (in my belief) a lot of the mistrust on the part of those attending political rallies came from the lack of concern over other large gatherings that occurred in early summer. Those events weren't even a blip on the super spreader...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

There are a lot of us "60 million+" that do believe the virus is a big deal and do our best to protect ourselves and everyone around us. We're not all the same, despite what you see on cable news.

I am genuinely curious about this. What did you see (pre-covid) to convince you?

For discussion purposes....Please don't shoot the messenger. I believe this was mentioned a few pages back. Story ran on our local news yesterday: https://www.wral.com/coronavirus/are-nc-s-coronavirus-case-numbers-inflated-some-scientists-say-so/19355130/

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Again, it’s a stretch to say that we can do anything we want. My wife can’t work because schools are closed and she has to school at home. There are businesses in NC that the governor still hasn’t allowed to open. Of course, we’re not “locked down”, but keeping these “physical spaces” closed...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Schools and churches are a couple of examples. Virtual learning and services don't equal opened. I'm not saying that they should / should not be, but it's a stretch to say "we can do anything we want. I don't get the people complaining."
