Travel from Philly area to NYC port

Yes sorry, its a one way NYC-San Juan. So ill need to get to NYC, Cruise to San Juan, then fly back (preferably to Philly). The reason I say it'll be late in the day if we do travel the day before is because we want to limit the amount of days of school the kids miss. So in that scenario...

Travel from Philly area to NYC port

Hi everyone, Does anybody have experience traveling from the Philly area to NYC for a cruise? I am booked on NYC-San Juan for this fall, starting to feel like it may happen after all so I'm trying to put things together. Originally I was planning on getting a hotel nearby the night before...

Renting a car for a day

Yeah probably a booster seat if they'll do that. He'll be fine on the bus/shuttle, but I'd like him to have a booster in the rental.

Renting a car for a day

Oh great, so basically just wake up the morning of my reservation, call the rental center and tell them I'm ready to be picked up, they send the shuttle and take me back to the rental car and I'm on my way. Then afterwards I bring the rental directly to the rental center, and they'll bring me...

Renting a car for a day

Hi everyone. We'll be in Disney world toward the end of May, we'll be staying at Old Key West. My son wants to do a day in Lego Land, in order to do that I think I'll rent a car. My question is, what's the best way to do that? Does the rental place pick us up at the resort and take us back...

    Lego Land

Oooof, we'll be there the week before and we'll go on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Darn, so seems as though there isn't a ton of ninjago specific stuff on a "normal day". I'll have to do some digging and see if the 6 year old still wants to do it. Thanks again!

    Lego Land

Hi! Thanks for the input, sorry for the late response, I kind of completely forgot I asked about Lego land on here lol. Sounds great! I'm thinking we'll rent a car at one of the rental locations in WDW just for the day. Do you know how much Lego Ninjago stuff there is to see? My son loves...

    Lego Land

Hi all! We'll be in WDW in May. My son is a huge lego fanatic so we want to check out Lego Land for a day. I want to know what your thoughts are as far as best way to get to and from our resort (old key west) to lego land? Uber etc, rent a car? How long of a ride is it and is 6-8 hours good...

Thank you!! I noticed that some of these are handicap rooms (7136, 7138 etc), I assume I can't book them unless I need them right?

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

I saw a gas station near me that had some...doesn’t change the fact that hospitals, where they’re needed most, don’t have what they need. In Philly they’re handing out 1 K-N95 (cheaply made, doesn’t work as well) per 12 hour shift, despite a recommended 4-6 hour usage time for REAL N95s.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Where do we have enough PPE, specifically legitimate N95 masks? I know for a fact major center city Philadelphia hospitals don't.

    Large verandahs on The Magic?

maybe a dumb question, that’s an accessible room, I assume you can’t book that unless you have a reason for needing it? Is that the case?

    Large verandahs on The Magic?

great to hear, thanks! I definitely think we could manage a bit of rough seas especially if we have motion sickness meds or patches etc. I’ll have to take a look through your trip report in more detail.

    Large verandahs on The Magic?

You happen to notice worse movement back there on the Magic (being a smaller ship)? Last thing I want is 2 seasick kids lol, although we did ok on our cruise a few months back and had a bit of rocky seas a night or two
