To be completely honest I sometimes feel scared to comment on this site because of some of that kind of stuff, so nice to see that others recognise it too!
I believe the time we're going in September (after Labor Day) is generally slower so my guess is there will be people heading to several different resorts on out bus. But it's good that it seems the ones that share a bus are usually in the same general area.
So far I've stayed at All Star Music and Art of Animation. Of those two I preferred Art of Animation, but we visited Pop Century on out last trip and I have a feeling that's probably going to be my favorite (we check in a few weeks from now).
I'll be at Pop which I know is closer to the gates. When I stayed at Music I know there were at least two stops before mine (Coronado and Sports) though it could have changed since that was five years ago. Art of Animation was a pretty quick trip from airport to hotel I think.

We're going to Disney next month and this will be our first time in the parks since Fastpass+ became a thing. We booked some tentatively but we are probably going to want to change a few of them between now and then. Is this possible and at what time can we do this?
We're getting ready to book FP+ for September in a few weeks. We were hoping to do Animal Kingdom at night but apparently it's back to 5 pm immediately after Labor Day weekend. Anyone know if the night stuff is indeed a summer-exclusive thing or whether it's likely the calendar will change...
Was at Downtown Disney for an evening last summer but last full visit was back in August 2013. We're thinking of going back September 7 to 14 of this year (we're already booked for free dining as of right now) but after reading a lot of comments about the state of the resort lately we're...
Of the ones on the list I've experienced (everything except PhilharMagic which is a must-do next vacation) I was least impressed by Space Mountain. It was sort of fun I guess but not as exciting as a lot of people make it out to be. I know a lot of people feel this way about Big Thunder but at...
