    Best Sangria?

I love the "mangled margarita" at Paradiso 37. It is essentially a frozen sangria-flavoured margarita. :slurp:

    Survivor 20: Heroes Vs Villians..:D

According to Jeff Probst's blog, it is against current Survivor rules to steal someone else's idol, but they don't have rules about the clues. Danielle discarded it, Amanda found it. Amanda should have kept it and Colby should have backed her as a fellow hero. You don't hand over "ammo" to...

    Paradiso 37

We had lunch there in December. I agree with the other posters that the music was too loud, especially for mid-day... and the restaurant was empty. We had 3 or 4 different appetizers and thought the food was good, but overpriced and small portions. The drinks however were awesome! I had the...

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party sold out for December 18 2009

I read on another board that on a sold out night waits for rides will be 20 minutes with SM usually being among the longest. Rides will be walk-ons after 11pm. Main Street will be packed for the first parade (try and catch the second one.) And that the lines for characters (esp Mickey and...

Booking next trip while at Disney

When we there in May it was: 20% off rack rates at Value resorts; 30% off rack rates at Moderate and Deluxe resorts; or 40% off rack rates at DVC/Deluxe Villa resorts. This was for dates in the fall through December. We took advantage and are heading to the YC!

    Picture at Chef Mickey's

I was there for dinner in mid-May and the picture was not included-it cost extra. I didn't want the picture, so didn't have it taken. It was just of a Chef Mickey statue and not the real character. The characters were all inside the restaurant itself.

    ADR for Fantasmic package

Making ADR's for character meals is just the same as makiing them at a "regular" restaurant. However, packages such as Fantasmic and Cirque du Soleil cannot currently be booked online. Apparently you still have to phone.

    90 Days out!

Am I missing something? What is wrong with a 1:20 lunch? Why would you cancel that?

    CoP voices?

OMG. That final scene is supposed to be the future? I thought it was supposed to represent the 1980's/early 90's.

    Faerie Tale Theatre

Hardly surprising as there were episodes directed by Tim Burton and Francis Ford Coppola!

    Faerie Tale Theatre

I bought the collection for my sister for Christmas. She was a huge fan. I'm totally blown away by how many famous people are in it - a total who's who of Hollywood.

    Honeymoon ADR...Comments?

I agree with the above poster about Hollywood & Vine. Skip it. Definitely go somewhere else.

Disney's Lion King - Las Vegas

I've seen Lion King in Toronto and New York and think it's jaw-dropping every time. It's like seeing a familiar movie brought to spectacular life. I would also recommend any of these Cirque shows: Ka, O, Mystere and Love. You can get excellent discounts on same day Mystere tickets - we got...

    Adults at Character Dining

I'm 33 and have done many character meals solo and with my 45 year old DH. I've never had a problem and never been the only couple there without kids. The characters have funny things to say to adults and are happy to pose for pictures.

    Roll Back Offer

We're just back from POFQ too, and like you we booked a bounceback. We'll be going to Coronado, but the week after you in December (a little closer to Christmas.) I don't think you're crazy at all... because if you are, then so are we! It certainly eases park withdrawal knowing we're going back...

    Survivor: Tocantins

Well it's definitely going to be interesting to see what happens next... Will Erin and Sierra vote with Taj, Stephen and JT or with Coach and Debbie?

    Dieting for Disney 2009

Long-time lurker but first-time poster in this thread... Last year when I went to Disneyland, I was 350 lbs. and I was miserable. I hurt from the walking, was sweating profusely, chaffing and didn't really want to be in any pictures. I vowed I would get down to a more reasonable weight, if...
