Just lazy. That's all I've got. Also, why couldn't they put it inside like Splash did with their banner in the finale? Hang it on a building or between the two sides of the set, but having it just randomly outside is just lazy and looks thrown together.

[Rumor] Rip Ride Rockit Possibly Closing

According to the site we can't say, Rip Ride Rockit may close in the not too distant future. I wouldn't be shocked seeing as it's reportedly getting to be a really rough ride and is apparently at the end of its shelf life.

Literal Dora the Explorer or Disney Jr. level dialouge. Yeesh. Right whenever they reveal something interesting about this attraction, we get something like this. One step forward, two steps backward.

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

I worry Tiana will end up the exception with retheming/overhauling rides these days, not the standard. Given how beloved Splash was, and how much people dislike current Figment, they may not need feel the need to go all out for a replacement. "See, isnt this better than Figment 3.0?" for the...

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

Seems like, if it truly is a new version of Imagination, they'll have it in 1.5 years, which seems to be roughly how long they take to overhaul attractions (Tiana's, Test Track is roughly that too iirc). Depends on how much they do to it.

The Chit Chat Chit Chat Thread

Huge life update. On Tuesday, I proposed to Dana and she said yes. The wedding will probably be in 2026+ since we're both finishing school (I'm finishing a bachelors of arts, she's finishing a social work masters) and will need to find employment.

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

1:05:00 in this interview with Charita, she states openly that the drop will be a more joyous experience as opposed to how it was in Splash. "L:ess of a scary experience and more of a joyous and fun thing!"

This corner works incredibly. I've been pretty big detractor of TBA, but seeing it lit up definitely helps. Once the mountains lit up I'm sure it'll help 10× more

We're already seeing it again as DINOSAUR is on the way out. Any ride that replaces an E Ticket will be looked at with skepticism. Look at Mickey Minnie Runway, people are still comparing it to Great Movie Ride today. Heck, even Frozen is still bemoaned for replacing Maelstrom.

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

I think P&F could have worked when the show was running, but as you said, it would have dated itself pretty hard. Sadly though that probably wouldn't have stopped Disney from letting it stagnate even in that form.

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

That's my concern with Figment. Since people complain about V3 I wouldn't put it past Disney to throw a bandaid on and say "See isn't this better?".

Soul was considered? Inside Out I can see, but how do you get to Soul?

Whatever happens to Figment, I just hope they keep the best part of the current ride as an Easter egg-

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

Unfortunately I don't think Disney can "go big" anymore when replacing rides. If anything, I wouldn't be shocked if what get resembles MMRR but in the Figment show building.
