Real ghost at Caribbean Beach Resort rm 3906

This reminds me of the Haunted Mansion-themed rooms that WDW was polling about some years back.

Help me choose a resort for a stay with preschooler

Thank you everyone for the input Weather_Lady was right: double beds were the concern at AoA, or else it would've been an easy choice! As it turns out, the dates and the exact composition of our traveling party are now up in the air, so I'm waiting for more information before I can even make...

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

I don't know if I'd say that this looks so far from an early spring completion. I work in construction, and while I fully acknowledge that I don't know exactly all that is entailed in what they are trying to build here, this doesn't necessarily look to be in such bad shape from the photos. I...

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

I thought Rivers of Light was supposed to open in March/April 2016, but today's article says May. :( Do we know for sure this is delayed now? I'll be so disappointed to miss it by just a couple weeks.

Help me choose a resort for a stay with preschooler

I've been to AoA a few times with this same child, but he was stroller-age. I never minded the walk to the mermaid rooms, but I'm willing to bet that after a park day he will. I'm afraid I'm a little spoiled by AoA's food court (which we, admittedly, don't use too much anyway, but I like the...

Help me choose a resort for a stay with preschooler

I'd be interested to hear what everyone would recommend for our next stay: My friend, her four-year-old, and I will be sharing a room. We really enjoyed AoA in the past but are concerned that the Little Mermaid rooms are going to be too small for our party now. She doesn't mind sharing a bed...

    Where to start

Maybe no pony ride, but what about going to the stables to meet the horses? (Sorry, I don't know how I attached this response to the wrong post. Suggestion still stands, though...)

    Yeti Footprint at DAK

Its a real cast of something. What can I say? Take it up with Josh Gates who convinced Joe Rohde of it's value...

    Yeti Footprint at DAK

Actually, I just heard on the Disney Brit Podcast featuring Dave McBride from Radio Harambe that the gentleman who made the cast of the footprint (Josh Gates) specifically wanted it displayed in this attraction and spent two years trying to get in touch with Joe Rohde about the matter. Rohde...

    Late August vs. September?

Maybe crowd levels and weather are similar, but I would check ride closures. Perhaps certain refurbs will convince you of one time over another.

Weird things the "general public" say.

I thought it was for his family to use, which might explain that. I could be wrong, though.

    Towel Buddies at DS Resorts

Right. They are laid out in a Mickey shape, but don't try and guess based on the age/quality of the towel that it's a towel animal you can take home. Sorry, but those are your towels for the day! ;)

    Towel Buddies at DS Resorts

I mean, they cover them with stickers and stick pipe cleaners through them. Can you imagine them then cycling them through the wash and leaving them in a room for guests to use? They're meant to be taken or they are likely trashed (or, I'm afraid...maybe passed on to another room, who knows)...

    Towel Buddies at DS Resorts

I've never kept them, but I know its permitted. You can tell they are thinner than the towels you're supposed to actually use (and mine have usually just been small, like washcloths).

    Pack N Play strategies

Silly question, but any chance the Pack&Play could fit in the closet? That sounds really horrible...I was just thinking, there's a door, you could use your bathroom...

    All Star Movies Hypothetical...

I don't really see Toy Story going away. I was imagining Mighty Ducks and The Love Bug sections would be the ones to go.

    Disney by your onesies?

I actually snuck off alone to go to Animal Kingdom on Christmas Day once while my family was sleeping (I mean, they knew, but didn't care because it was Ak and they knew I just wanted time to see the animals without being rushed). I wasn't missing any valuable time with them, and I enjoyed...

    Which FP strategy?

I think this will depend on when you are going, your touring style, if youre planning to use Park Hoppers, and the age/s of your traveling companion/s. There are probably a zillion ways to go about this, but a few things I've learned from experience: -If you book your first 3 FPs for early in...
