Quite a few people including @marni1971 have been hinting at some upgrades coming to T2:3D. The details have not been given, but apparently it has a large budget. Lets make this the place to discuss.

Universal will close down Jaws, Back To The Future, Kongfrontation, but leave crap like T2 open?

Wow - thank god the pre show is always the part that aged the worst at uni attractions
I second this. I find it to be the best and most unique 4D attraction in Orlando.
Spider-Man standards? Does that mean the main film is actually being redone?
I think they'll run it through filters and add CGI to make it looks as clean as possible. I can see the finale scene which is all CGI being 100% redone. I can see all of the CGI being redone too. The preshow is like crystal clear HD. It's stunning.

As long as Arnold still says "Let's bust a move," I'm good.
I've never liked it to begin with. Using a fake Arnold and fake Linda Hamilton always bothered me and now the movie is out of date. Plus it's a show that just repeats the movie more than a ride. I'd rather they put something like Walking Dead ride in there or make a new Harry Potter ride over in the north side.

Well they did get a new net for her to fall into just a few months ago. That is an improvement for the main show.....

Hopefully with new lights. Cyberlights and similar fixtures are old tech.

Ah, ok. Film wise- Are we looking at the film simply being run through some filters to clean it up, or something far more advanced than that?
