Hard to believe there is not a thread in the Movies forum already for this new release(unless I missed it). I think that speaks volumes about the meh advertising done for this film. It's currently holding at 78% on Rotten tomatoes. I have heard critics(Roeper and Washington Post) really panning the film. Others site the incredible details of the landscape created by Pixar.

Overall on this site in other threads it is getting mixed review as well.

Early projections hint at 60 Million opening weekend.

Any thoughts?

I personally cannot find any enthusiasm to see this movie. Yes I've seen the trailer as well as a few television ad's, but I'm just not "feeling it" on this one. The lead characters seem daffy (imo), and unlike past Pixar classics, I really am not eager to learn how this adventure unfolds. Maybe my lack of desire in seeing this has to do with it's similarities to past animated dino flicks that have been rehashed all-too-often (Land Before Time, Disney's Dinosaur, We're Back...)
