Any update on Royal Pacific reno?

Staying at RPR in October and was wondering how the renovation is progressing. It seems that Tower 1 is complete, but can't find any more information besides that. Really want a renovated room as the old rooms are looking worn out.

Did you call the concierge? They don't hide the information 407-503-3200.

Tower 1 was beautiful in august. Great renovation. We'd stayed in tower 1 in January and the difference was huge.

Also, no noise from the renovation our second visit.

Strange that this renovation is taking longer than Universal building hotels up from scratch.

I think they are doing a little at a time to avoid closing many parts at once and disturbing the guests. I have not heard any complaints about noise or disturbance during this. Hope it is that way when I am there at the end of the month.

Remods are always harder to do especially if you plan to keep the hotel fairly full while doing the remod. .

The latest refurb of Portofino's rooms were done a lot faster.

I called. Basically not much progress. Tower 1 is complete and they are currently working on the top 3 floors of Tower 2.
