We discovered on our recent trip you can go off property without a rental.

Use the Gray Line which is a shuttle service which hits most major attractions in the area.

It's about $19/person and you still don't have to drive and get out and about and they will pick you up and drop you off wherever you are going.

Hey Thanks

You're welcome. It's pretty easy, just buy the vouchers online. Schedule when you want to be picked up on both sides. Just give the driver the vouchers and you are good to go.

We use them to go to dinner shows, SeaWorld and Universal. And it saves us all the driving and dealing with a rental car.

This is awesome; thanks so much! We're going to check out Harry Potter World one day during our trip and were wondering how to make that work without a rental car.

Whatever you do, make sure you are at Universal, in line in the parks at least 30 minutes before the scheduled opening time. It does take a little while to get from the parking/drop off area into the parks, so account for that in your travel times.

Then make the run for HP area first. It fills up rather quickly in there the longer you wait. Another suggestion is to ride the standby line one time to see the queue as early as you can(when the wait is shorter) and then just do single rider lines any other time you want to ride FJ or Gringots. Remember you need the park to park passes if you want to ride Hogwarts.

Thank you so much for the timing advice; I definitely would not have thought about that. We definitely got park to park tickets(my company offers discount tickets), because there was no way I was missing a chance to ride the Hogwarts express!
