Definitely the road trip! It's half the fun. ;)

Spotting the first palmetto on the drive down.
Yes and the welcome center when we enter Florida. We always stop and get a picture of our boys by the sign! It's nice to see how they've grown over the years. Our other non-Disney tradition is a day at Kennedy Space Center on the way in (last trip is was on the way out, so we could make the last day of SWW) I also love my day at the outlet malls (usually just go for the Disney ones):D

Counting the Waffle Houses on the way down (I think it was around 98), and finding those Deep South road treasures.

Do you drive all the way down from WI? We used to do that and that drive from Madison was LONG lol (We also didn't stop so it was just 19 hours straight) I remember getting to Florida and being excited to learn it was still hours and hours away lol...

I get excited once I am through Airport Security at O'hare or Midway, once I am there I am happy!!
