Tom Brady suspended for the first four games of 2015. The Patriots will be fined $1M and forfeit 2016 first round draft pick and 2017 fourth round pick.

Brady is a late round steal in fantasy football. He will get ripped by the fantasy "experts" but if hes not on your team as a back up you deserve to lose.

Jimmy Thick- Aaron Rodgers in the first round.

The owners approve the proposal of moving the extra point to the 15 yard line. This rule change will allow teams to also score two points on returns.

I agree with the return part, but I don't like the extra point idea. The game is changing to fast, and the change is being forced. If a longer extra point is really going to be the deal-breaker in making the game more entertaining, football would not be a popular sport. I actually think it will lose fans rather than gain or enhance the experience.

Ray McDonald an idiot (criminal) again.... Bears were probably his last stop... Suspension will probably be one year at least....

Just announced he was released by the Bears. He's done.

You would think that when getting a job where the employer tells you to make better decisions, you'd listen and act accordingly. I am all about a second chance. Third is a maybe. I have a hard time when those are afforded to someone with a penchant for harming women, but whatever. I hope he is done and scared someone will afford him a fourth.

It's funny no one mentioned about the short-lived XFL regarding the PAT change. In their one and only season, they didn't have extra points. Instead, they had one point conversion at the 2 yard line which basically was a 2 point conversion for one point. They added 2 point (At the 5 yard line) and even 3 point conversions (10 yard line) for playoff games. I'm not sure how I feel about the rule change. I don't think it'll change the game too much. NFL teams are not like college teams where special teams aren't emphasized as much. (Alabama's kicking woes have existed for a while under Nick Saban but they still dominate the SEC and compete for national championships every year.) If the extra point was at the 20 yard line where sometimes, you see a special paint mark for that particular yard line, then maybe it would be more understandable and more difficult.

If you want to make the game more entertaining, how about cutting the commercials or better yet, have limited commercial interruptions for end of quarters and half time only! I can only pipe dream for that but still! Cut the play clock down just like college basketball is doing with their shot clock. There are better ways to improve the game and the extra point is the least of my concerns.

I think the extra-point changed has potential to be a game-changer. If teams have struggling kickers, it might force them to become a 2-point team. And say teams with good kickers have one extra point missed, they could be inclined to play "catch-up" the rest of the game by going for two, which can be a death sentence if they keep missing their conversions. It's like a never-ending cycle.

However, kickers are still 90% from where the new extra point line is. It kind of contradicts the "safety" angle the league has been going with. This time they're sacrificing safety for entertainment, which is what they've been going against. If I had it my way, I would keep it as it was.

While I see the logic of the argument against the change, I can't really blame anyone for wanting the change. Changes in the game have good and bad effects. Less hits to the head give us more lower body (knee) injuries. Reducing hand contact on pass plays results in more passing and less running. (You get higher scoring, fan pleasing results that way.)

If the argument for either side is safety, eliminate the try and award 7 points for a TD. Require no kick at all. In fact, removing the "kick off" would increase safety as well. Maybe just have a punter at this point. No more place kicking of any kind in the interests of safety.

I think that moving the kick back will encourage more 2 point attempts. (So does the league). It is more interesting to see that play then an automatic "point after". Because sports like football are for entertainment, providing more exciting game play with a nominal increase in player safety (if there is any disparity at all), should be the NFL's priority.

My biggest thing would be messing with the scoring. I don't want to see games tied 8-8. That's not a football score. Call me picky, but that's just not what football is. Gimmicks aren't my thing.

But I thought the Tebow signing by Philly was to bring him in as a 2-point specialist. I don't think I was wrong.
