Number of people attached to a DAS

We are a family of 8 2 adults 6 children I read that there can only be 6 people on a DAS. Has anyone had experience with them allowing more than 6 if there is more in the "nuclear family" (Dad Mom kids)? Thanks guys you are awesome

I would contact guest services and ask this question. You can get all kinds of "first hand experiences" but all that matters is what Disney will or will not do at the time you need to use it and info gathered from the internet won't be much help when you get there and it doesn't work the way you thought it would.
