Another attempt to spice the thread up. Here is a photo I took the morning of January 8 of this year after the rescue of Oasis' overboard passenger. I have not posted this else where. This shows the MAJOR course changes and maneuvers to rescue to man.

You see the life-vests, you see the life-rings, and you know they are there for a reason. You see these little boxes on them that you are told are activated in salt water to flash and put an orange smoke out. You never in your wildest thoughts expect to see them at use.

Feeling better that they do test and launch the lifeboats periodically; always thought they did, but now I know for sure. :happy:


They are on a regular rotation. It is most commonly done in CC for the east coast runs. You'll see many lines do it at NASSAU because it's safe harbor and they don't have e luxury of an island like CC.
