Cast members and magicbands

Are magicbands now part of the "Disney look"? lol jk But I've been wondering why do cast members wearing their bands to work? I've seen it more and more recently.

Maybe the same way some wear pins? They just like them?

We were there in March and August, and I didn't notice that happening. I usually notice things, and would have thought it odd and out of character for them to wear them "on the clock". Was it Guest Service CMs, or CMs working specific rides/attractions in specific costumes?

Just all over the place stores attractions

It would actually make more sense than cards, they probably get lost less, and its an easy way to have staff check in at their locations.

Sounds about 100 percent right, the look is very strict so they pry have to be wearing them for a reason

They could be interns, staying at a resort and the Magic Bands would have their room keys on them.
