Torn between resorts! First timer

Don't stay at Wilderness Lodge it is the worst resort on property. It's ugly and smells bad. The boats often sink in the lake and the pool looks like a swamp Trust me.

Wilderness lodge is great. We stayed there last week and loved it. My kids really liked the bunk beds.

AOA is nice, and what you're saying about your kids and the themeing may have some validity but why overload the themeing? It's just paint and some shapes. At WL there are unique activities there and sites. The boat to MK and to the other deluxe resorts is nice too.

I love both POR but if you're getting a good deal and Id assume with your kids ages you'll be at MK the most. Id def do WL especially with the short boat ride you'd get to use instead of the bus.

I've stayed at Wilderness Lodge numerous times. I love the theming of the hotel. I'm happy you are choosing this hotel since you will most likely be at the Magic Kingdom for the most part with children and that's just a boat ride away. You will have an amazing time there!
