Did the insides of the attractions get wet (namely the indoor ones with indoor queues)?

And now I'm interested in seeing MK flooded while Im there just so I can see the damage .... at the same time I hope that doesn't happen while I visit, but who knows a little water never hurt anyone....

Now onto jokes on that video :

When did Disney open a new water park?

For the location,I'd totally choose Houston, Texas. Since it has one of the biggest airports!
Trust me, I think Houston's airport is the most used airport for stopovers in USA, not to mention that the city attracts tourism. Houston's Airport is very well known for it's international destinations and connections.
On the other hand there is a SeaWorld in San Antonio, and doing a Disney Park there would turn San Antonio in a potential great touristic area just like Orlando.

Where is the New Orleans option?

Possibly. I was responding to your pitch of NOLA option vs now the state of Louisiana. Yet I do love Baton Rouge, worked down there quite a bit in the '80s.
