Does the hat animatronic ontop of the store in Diagon alley work?

I saw video of the big dude lifting up his hat ontop of the store in Diagon Alley.. but when i was there a few weeks ago it didn't seem to move.. did i just not catch it at the right time or is it broken?

Most of the time the hat goes up and down, the rabbit appears and disappears and wiggles one ear, and... I think the man's eyes move?

I heard when the strobe light flashes at just the right sequence it looks as though it is really moving....>sigh<

It was hit or miss when I went during week two. It was working in the morning then not at night. That is some Disney quality engineering, right there. They also have issues with the firework screens inside Weasley Wizard Wheezes too.

It is screens. And your guess is as good as mine. Kinda like the bird on a stick that is ALWAYS broken on Everest.
