As far as I've heard, you need to use the Party ticket to enter the gates. You can then use your MagicBand to check in to your FP+ reservations.

Where will party ticket bands be available inside the park? Since my family doesn't get to visit often, we usually spend the whole day in MK before and during the party (w party ticket). Getting the paper band was a major headache for us at the MVMCP since we enter the park on our park ticket at the beginning of the day.

If you buy your party tickets directly from the 'My Disney Experience' website or app, your party tickets should automatically be linked to your 'My Disney Experience' account. If not, they can be manually linked.
A linked party ticket means that you do not have to hand over a paper ticket at the turnstiles to enter the event, and instead your RFID ticket or MagicBand becomes your park entry admission for the party. Once inside the park, you will still get a wristband as before.

Correct, but I've not heard a complete description of how the system knows to use the Party ticket between 4pm and 7pm rather than a day off of your linked MYW ticket. (I know some people were having issues with it last year, but they may have fixed it since then)
If you visited the MK earlier in the day, or you went to another park and have Park Hopping then it doesn't matter. From 4pm-7pm you have valid admission to the park no matter what, whther it's your MYW ticket, an AP or the Party ticket. But it's the instances where you are entering the Party and you *don't* go to a park that day other than for the Party that can get you in trouble and lose a day. The one definite way to avoid that is to use the physical ticket to enter the park between 4 and 7. (After you're in the park, you can use your Band for FP+ use)
I'd love to hear from someone who is in this exact situation and whether things worked out OK just using your Band.

Does anyone know if this applies to the Epcot Late Nights Live after hours event as well? That one is a bit confusing because when you book it through MDE you don't buy a "ticket" you do an ADR for it and pay the $79 up front. It doesn't really give any instructions on how or where to enter the park, as you do not have to have a park ticket to attend, and the event doesn't begin until after park close.

I'm in this exact situation. We're going to MNSSHP in early Oct and have our party tix already linked to our MB along with multi day MYW tix. We won't be using a park ticket that day, planning on sleeping in then hitting the MK at 4 when we can enter with our party tix.
I have the same concern, how will it know to use our MNSSHP tix and not use up a day of our MYW tix?
I'm hoping we can get paper MNSSHP tix at will call or something to make sure the right ones are used.

Does anyone know if you have an annual pass and MNSSHP ticket, is there a way to enter the park before 4pm with your normal pass and them give you the bracelet at that time presenting your MNSSHP ticket? Or do you have to go back to the entrance sometime between 4pm-7pm with your MNSSHP ticket?

They'll have stations set up in a few places around the park where they will scan your Party ticket (or perhaps the Band, too) and give you the wristband.
