We were there in July and stayed for two weeks in Jamaica village.
The refurb was complete in most of Jamaica and we had a new style room which was a very pleasant upgrade to the prior decor.
There was no noticeable noise there during the time we stayed.
There was more extensive work at Aruba at the time and I noticed some construction noise on just one occasion during the day.
The only problem we found was that they had closed off a large proportion of the Jamaica parking lot for storage and workers vehicles, therefore, parking spaces were very few when returning at evening/night.
It was a bit frustrating that they had allocated a lot of rooms in Trinidad N & S to the teenage tour groups who did not have vehicles which meant that we passed empty lots before arriving at ours where there were almost no spaces!
It looked like Aruba also had some loss of parking spaces ...but also it seemed that rooms there were vacant due to the works.
Not sure if these closures will rotate with the work but it might be worth checking which lots are restricted when checking in and before accepting the initial room allocation?
On the whole it was a small issue and we still had a magical time!
