That sounds like MyMagic+ on the high seas....

Sorry if it was posted somewhere, didn't see it...so does anyone think we will see this on DCL and other parks such as Uni, etc?

I've been saying for a while I think it will become an industry standard.

It's interesting to note that the MM+ technology has been around for quite a while. Here is an article about a company that was implementing this in parks back in 2005:

"These systems include real-time locating of individuals, amenity location, facility navigation, cashless spending, attraction reservation and venue information."

This appears to not have caught on back then, but now that Disney is doing it, others may suddenly get interested.

In the foreseeable future this technology will literally be everywhere. Wearable tech is the new trend and while I am certainly not the biggest fan, it seems as if it is here to stay. Cruises are perfect for this concept because of the "cashless" system they already use. I like what RCL is doing here, and I hope to see the same on DCL. Just not everywhere in life please :p
