Yeah, it's profitable. Unfortunately, it's still far less profitable than most of the other parks. The parks, it appears, generated about $2.1 billion dollars profit last year. DLP accounted for only $85.7 million of that.

Any profit is great news, of course, but it'll be a while before DLP truly pulls it's own weight. After all, there are 11 parks, and $2.1 billion of total park profit, which means that the average per park is about $190 million. DLP is less than half that. Not to shoot down the good news, but hopefully it'll be catching up in the years to come.

That is money The Walt Disney Company is simply allowing Euro Disney SCA to hold onto to help them be profitable. They still carry something like €1.7 billion in debt.

They say that it is the Resorts profit, which would mean that the yearly amount they have to pay off the debt to TWDC has already been accounted for. I also believe Paris pays back more than the agreed amount and always has done. You can still run a profit despite being in debt via a loan, because that is what this is, a loan.

So TWDC aren't "simply allowing Euro Disney SCA to hold onto" the money, Paris is just paying off the agreed amount and still having that amount left over.

The Walt Disney Company purchased the debt because it was still killing Euro Disney SCA.

As has been said the resort as a whole is making a profit. Has been for a while.

As was also said it - as a resort - is still in debt from the 4 billion the whole place cost to build in 1992.
