So, my mother has this amazing knack for finding stuff at garage sales and even in people's junk/trash. Yes, I know- not everyone's cup of tea - but last month she found a 1986 Disneyland toy train set in the neighbor's trash. The set was pristine, fully intact/operational, and was going for over $120 on ebay.
Her most recent find was at a neighborhood garage sale. A friend was selling this Minnie watch set (shown below). She got it for $5 (AWESOME!), but I found it selling on ebay and the ebay seller noted that the set- which is supposedly limited edition- originally sold for $99. I'll spare you all of the pics from the ebay seller, but I can't find a date on any of this. Is anyone familiar with this set and know when it may have been offered by Disney? Just trying to figure out when it was in production.
