Best/most comfortable park shoes for tweens?

Hey everyone!

I'm taking my 12yo niece to Disney this summer, and during my most recent visit, I noticed that most of her shoes are Chuck's (Chuck Taylor's), which can't possibly be comfortable to wear for 11k+ steps a day. For those who have young ones in their lives, do you have any recommendations for summer shoes that will hold up to the Disney miles?

Socks and whatever sneakers are most comfortable for them! It will really vary person to person but I always recommend comfortable, broken in sneakers. Both of my girls have worn Converse with no issues.

My 17 lives in converse and/or vans. He recently was on his senior trip to Disneyland and Iniversal Hollywood and wore his converse.

I take a variety of shoes including brooks running shoe. Vans, Birkenstock and Merrill sandals.

I think your niece needs to take whatever shoes she’s comfy in. Good socks help!

When I was in high school and went to Disney my most comfortable shoes were my converse. It seems like those never go out of style.

Just make sure that they are well broken in and bring a spare pair so they can trade off each day to lessen the chance of getting blisters.
