I can see this theme fitting in at DL since it’s right next to Orleans....I just wish they could have come up with something different for MK but it’s much cheaper to create two of the same thing instead of two separate, I guess! I do enjoy the music and sure hope the Shadow Man throws us down...
This will not happen for a long time. This is lip service to calm the narrative regarding the ride. Disney is hemorrhaging money with the parks being closed. I am sure EPCOT will drastically reduce its expansion and I doubt any capital investments will be put on hold atleast 5 years IMO!
Disney has to think about liability. Sure, you can say come in at your own risk, but we know Disney doesn’t want a swell of outbreaks that occurred in their parks! They will do a slow burn! I originally thought the parks wouldn’t open at full capacity until Labor Day. I now think Labor Day is...
Labor Day at the earliest but, if we are being honest, Disney will realize the amount of legal pressure if they were to become a new epicenter. Because of that...my honest prediction is January 2021. Should have a vaccine or course of action against the virus by then!
My prediction is Disney will not reopen until the Fall- Probably Labor Day weekend...and by then...I don’t even want to know what they will be charging to make up for lost revenue!
I have to believe WDW will try to wait until after Spring Break to close. They don’t want to miss out on that revenue if at all possible. I predict an early April to Memorial Day weekend closure!
They stated today they needed to get new parts. All kidding aside, is it possible that, like most of Disney’s products, the part they need is made in China and there is a delay in receiving it? Seriously wondering!
I think WDW is hoping to get through Spring Break season and then reevaluate closing after that! Maybe a mid April-beginning of June closure. That’s my prediction and, no, I didn’t hear it from a bus driver!😉
Was just there Saturday and Sunday after a cruise. My wife and I haven’t seen it that busy since we unfortunately tried to go over New Years about 10 years ago (never again). MK and Epcot were nuts! Lines as long as the eye can see! We had a horrible time and didn’t spend much time in the parks...
I did enjoy the Muppet show but the three times I watched it there were small crowds (and I always go during the busy seasons). Maybe having little seating options came into play with the small crowds. I also feel that the show was never planned to be permanent. Just something to place into LS...
Maybe they are waiting for the Yeti to finally be replaced. They will place the broken one sitting on the new sign. Everyone worried about lights...don’t worry, the strobe comes with him! Viola, your new Disco Tommorow land entrance!
